In my opinion the ending shot of bojack staring up at the Philbert ballon is one of the most beautiful and depressing shots in the whole show

This was such a great episode, I was so shocked just like you to see BoJack strangling Gina and how long it took anyone to do anything. I think the ending shot of BoJack looking at the balloon is really symbolic and brings back what people have said to BoJack before (e.g. "you can't escape you" - Charlotte, "it's you" - Todd). Don't Stop Dancing is also a really great song, and I think my favourite detail is Beatrice dancing until her death, it shows how she just had to carry on with everything until the end of her life. Great reaction!

Oh yes, the f bomb of the season. We had some lows with Bojack throughout the show. Some real lows. But somehow seeing him strangling his girlfriend like that is still shocking. Maybe because its the first time hes actually directly and physically hurting someone?

Yeah… to be fair, that’d be a great guess if we were on season 2 or 3, but this is season 5.

"How about we dont strangle women?" once said BH. I love how we got prepped with him always keeping his costume on and just him casually popping pills. I was so sad, Gina was probably my favorite relation he had and for it to go like that.. but man do i love this episode with all the flashing in and out and the tension.. it feels so accurate from experience, just losing big parts of the days, questioning whats real, hearing stuff like the little music and obviously how it can all end up in terrible ways. Its gonna be hard to get over that but least we can say it wasnt really him, like he would have never hurt her intentionally, but hes also the one who got so high tough acting was real. Except for the Sarah Lyn one, this is my favorite 11th episode. Im excited to see you debate with yourself how this affect if you can "pardon" him now next video😅 and as always of course, loved the video man 👌😁

Dont stop dancing is based on the same words that Breatriz taught Bojack when he was a child in the flashbacks, and later Bojack teaches the same thing to Sara Lynn when she was a child. look for it in season 1

I don’t know if I’d put this as my favorite season or not, that is a really tight competition for that honor, but this is definitely my favorite season to rewatch, it does a great job foreshadowing and building up to this episode without really showing its hand too early, great stuff

@@EversPrimeTime Also forshadowing at the start of the season. Bojack says he doesn't like the character Philbert, and Princess Carolyn tells him it's just a character and he can leave it behind at the end of the day. But he starts wearing the costume all the time, carrying the character with him.

This episode is the reason I love this season, the mix between reality and the show, even in the intro, bojack starts to use the custom more than the usual and the characters from the show start to pop up in the intro, just ❤❤❤

With the fantasy sequences with Gina singing, it gave me "All That Jazz" vibes. The movie Roy Scheider was in which was loosely or not so loosely based on Bob Fosse. When the character was dying in the hospital, he had visions of all the people he'd known doing musical numbers.

Man, after this season, season six just destroys the viewer. At least, that was my experience. Originally, I watched the sixth season after a long period of time. Even longer, then original show waited in the time of release. And I was the guy, who never heard about the show and just wanted some seasonal comedy for a holiday. And poster of drunk horseman was just enough of a premise for me, even though, I was distant from Hollywood culture. Boy, was I a different person back then... And yes, I loved it before it became popular. I watched it as the first two seasons released.
