Dragoon pathing is like that by default, haha. Especially on the ramp.

yeah, i was gonna say Terran definitely has a hard time especially because of depots but when it comes to rallypoints Protoss does have it the worst by far. I am willing to die on that hill ^^

Honestly, that kind of jank is what make me love this game. This is the only game that has this kind of randomness that can fell a little bit like real life where shit can go wrong anywhere at anytime. Played alot of AoE II and this kind of jank isn't existing. Sure this is really nice for control, but the awful jankyness of SC1 has something special that I will always love.

I dare you to try dragoons pathing. Zergs also have this problem since you usually have so many of them. StarCraft is fair.

It is. You play around it. The added challenge is what makes the game good.

@@Redarmy1917 The fact that they got used to it makes them like it as it is. Imagine if a similar game with the same problems like pathfinding and low unit limit selection came out in 2023. Everyone would call it junk and low effort, no one would think it's good because everything is hard to control.

@@Leonhart_93 There are numerous games out there, that almost the entire point of them is they're hard to control. Games like Getting Over It and QWOP. For an RTS, Men of War 2, which is coming out in under 2 months now. The entire franchise, pathfinding is shit, unit controls are weird. Still a lot of fun to play.

@@Redarmy1917 Ease of control and the responsive units are the most sought RTS features right now. That's why Aoe2 and Sc2 are so well liked and that's why the upcoming Stormgate markets their product as a Sc2 evolution with the most responsive units yet. And I know RTS games that completely flopped because the unit movement was too clunky, like Iron Harvest.
