Thanks bro, same problem with my 09 mdx. I checked the fuses, take out the #40 on main box, and it stopped the draw, then I pulled the radio fuse and it stopped too. My problem is the radio. I will have to take it to a shop. To fix the problem.

Thanks for the video. I am having the same issue with the radio draining the battery. Wondering if you have found ways to get the radio fans to stop.

My non Nav Acura 6 disc was jammed and wouldnt play Cd's. I also heard the motor noise from the radio when the car was completely off and sitting for a while. I had already disconected the HFL BT module and ran without the A/C relay and even pulled fuses. And i was still getting the batt drain issue. So i went ahead and even took apart the CD mech, disconnecting and even removing internally from the radio unit. And still have the same issue. Batt. Still keeps draining... any other ideas?? Battery and Alternator have already been replaced as well...

You can measure the microvolts of the fuse with the doors closed should be 0. So did you ever fix the problem besides just unplugging the fuse?

Thank you. I've had the same issue. Too many battery jumps/boosts to count. Mechanic had not been able to figure out where the drain was coming from after a brand new battery was still dying regularly. Read about the HFL, but because I kept hearing the CD disc changer constantly shuffling, I figured that the radio was the culprit. Pulled the fuse this morning after battery died 2 days in a row. Of course, back up camera is now non functional but I've been driving in NYC for more than 30 years, so no problem there. Just wondering if it makes any sense to replace the radio since this is such a common issue. Also wondering if there is a way to connect speakers to my phone through standard headphone jack without the radio. If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, would love to hear.

How would you fix this? Replace the radio?

So after doing some research it would seem the faulty Bluetooth module causes the to run the radio disc changer constantly. I can only assume there’s a short or faulty relay inside the Bluetooth module.
