Hi David. Break the speakers in but, please don't break them hahaha! Seriously, first time I heard about breaking in speakers rather like running in a car, I suppose. Like getting into the groove. The actual recording tracks need to be good as well I dare say. Also need those good speakers to help produce the sound you want, of course. The AMP course is value for money. Although, I had to take time out for classic cars, hope to get back into it soon.

Truth ...listen to this guy because I own them before I treated my room and they are the best in class

I was wondering if they're still worth buying in 2021, since these monitors came out over 10 years ago. Do you think that Adam will come with an updated version anytime soon?

Which speaker sounds prettier? The Adam A7x or the 8x?

depends on your room but based on ns-10s i would go with a7x because of 6.5 to 7 drivers are punchy and bass not flabby

Can you explain the "brake them in" process where you run them for 2 days and why do you do that?

Thats because all the moving parts are stiff when they come out of the factory...So by running your monitors for a couple days at a relatively high level it helps to wear them in a bit. this will change the sound slightly but they will stay that way from then onwards. then you can tune the EQ of the speakers to suite your room.
