Agree completely. I don't remember all of them but this has to be one of SNL's best-ever opening monologues. His delivery is perfect, especially the throw-away lines (like over-his shoulder to the band "you can hear that's better, right?") I'm embarrassed to admit I've not seen any of his films; I've only seen him on talk shows and SNL. (The Report is on my watchlist, however.)

But before he was to be shipped off to Afghanistan, he suffered injuries which not only kept him from going, but was also discharged from the Marines entirely. Feeling guilty being left behind while his friends went to risk their lives, he returned home. It was then that he decided to try acting again, and this time he got into Julliard. I highly recommend watching his Ted talk about how being a Marine helped him become a better actor. It's not too long, and he's a great storyteller. If you enjoy Adam Driver, you'll enjoy this too!
