Adam has a stunningly beautiful, powerful voice. As for me, he is the best vocalist today. Critics call him a vocal chameleon because he is equally good in any genre: rock, funk, blues and even opera. A great artist! "Who Wants To Live Forever" live at the Isle of Wight Festival - super!

I'll probably get crucified for this, but as amazing as Freddie was and he's dearly missed, Adams voice is more versatile and they couldn't find a better new member. Nobody can replace Freddie and Adam doesn't try to be a replacement, but he brings his own style and in my view, one of the best male voices on the planet. ✌️♥️🇬🇧

I suggest listening to the song Closer to You from the album and a must see performance is him singing with Queen at the Isle of Wight Who Wants to Live Forever. I love how Adam arranged the song and made it a sad break up song. Cher's pop version's lyrics didn't really mean anything to me. Here Adam sings her own song to her and brings her to tears. Adam sang Believe at his concerts this past summer. You should watch his show at The Summertime Capital Ball. He sang it 3 ways. The slow version, the pop version and The Muffin Man version. 😂 He went viral after appearing on Jimmy Fallin's game show That's My Jam. He had to sing the Muffin Man as Cher in the musical version of Believe. It's an amazing performance! Adam has been the band Queen's front Man for 12+ years. I can't to see them this November!

Kennedy Center Honors is indeed annual and recognizes multiple artists each year from the arts, music, dance, theater. Recipients attend a ceremony at The White House where the President and First Lady host the awards. The Kennedy Center has a selection committee that decides. The musical honors and performances are always widely viewed on YT. Others who have been honored more recently are Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Garth Brooks, Buddy Guy, Carlos Santana, Paul McCartney, The Who. Performers who honor the recipients are always a surprise. There is one year when Beth Hart performs with Jeff Beck on guitar that is phenomenal.

there re usually 5 or 6 a year from all areas of the arts-opera, pop, theatre,film, etc and they put on a fantastic program for tv. i think they are chosen by the kennedy center board. , and i think carline kennedy schlossberg is chairman. but this performance is THE best of this song, which i agree was somewhat cheesy back then. i think it was the first to use autotune as an effect and that might have contributed to its popularity also it was a disco staple. You need to do more of the Kenndey Center Honors. The KCH are annual honors given to those in the performing arts for their lifetime of contributions to American curtual. While the awards are primarily given to individuals, they have occasionally been given to couples or musical groups, as well as to one Broadway musical and one television show. The Gala is every year in December and are televised on CBS before Christmas. Aretha Frankin sings Natural Woman when Carole King was honored and is great one. Also Beyonce singing The Way We Were honoring Barbara Streisand is another good one.

I am completely with you, Dominika. I hated this song so much. However, I'd really like you to check more Adam Lambert. I haven't been following him for ages but I was obsessed when he competed and almost won American Idol many years ago. He was amazing there. And shortly after that he became a singer for Queen but I stopped following his work, it wasn't really my cup of tea. I recommend you to hear him performing with Queen and also to listen to his own song "Whataya want from me", although you might have heard it on a radio or somewhere. Here, in this performance of "Believe" he intentionally didn't show off. It wasn't a place and a song for that, I guess, but he has an incredible voice. Maybe you should even check some of his performances on American Idol, although they are pretty short. I really loved "Mad world" and "Cryin'", that's what I remember.
