This is so true. I’m Italian, and when I listen to a song in English, I tend to focus on the melody and - only after many times listening - I try to translate the text in my head and understand the meaning. but when Adam sings, you know immediately what the song is about! He sings with such purpose and intent that you can’t miss it. I had this feeling the first time many years ago when he sang somebody to love with Queen on one of those talent shows, and again with believe by Cher, and so many other times. Love it. Holding out for my hero is more my kind of thing, but looking forward to hear this live!

@@jesssalyer5334Roger and Brian have stated many times that Adam can sing everything Freddie could sing, plus more. This doesn't diminish Freddie's legendary status. Adam had vocal training, whereas Freddie didn't. Roger has stated Freddie would be jealous of Adam's vocal ability, particularly Adam's ability to perform opera. Both men are iconic and I adore both. I actually think Freddie had a hand in Adam's collab w/Queen. ❤

I tremendously love the key used in here! The mixture of low notes in the verse and high notes in the chorus is so brilliant! The melody changes at some lines really made the song his own. I DECLARE THAT THIS IS MY MOST FAVORITE FROM THE ALBUM!! Now on my 4th time streaming this on Spotify in a span of an hour. I AM GETTING CRAZY OVER THIS UNIQUE TAKE ON THE SONG! Again the key used, the different instruments on the background, and the melody changes particularly on “down” This definitely did not disappoint 👏🏻 If there’s a High Drama World Tour, kindly include Asia and the Philippines!!! I’ll be there waiting to hear this one performed live. 🥹

Love it that you said the two versions are different but equally beautiful. A lot of people said it was better than the original. No It wasn’t. Can’t compare the two. And I am sure Adam wouldn’t appreciate us making that comparison as humble as he is. It’s not a competition. Just a joy of singing a beautiful song. And showcase a beautiful voice

Wonderful! 🎧 This album is incredibly impressive and virtuoso. 👍 Can't get enough of the amazing songs. These covers are unique, the instrumentations are perfect and it's magical to listen to how perfectly Adam's voice has matured. 💜 It's cannot be a question that Adam Lambert is by far the best singer nowadays.
