i'd get one of those tattoos... but i reserved my arms already, if there's space then yeah probably. am gonna be pursuing mechanical engineering as that is the engineering area that is REALLY taking my fancy (maybe follow it up with chemical engineering unno) so that would be very useful. but space, on my arm is important.

Love the idea. They shoud do custom engravings to fit the maker's style. e.g.; I, for one, can't make anything that's "useless". It goes against everything I am. But three criteria based on my own resources, skills, and styles? I just might buy that.

As a Swede, I also had trouble pronouncing Simone's familyname, since it in fact is not Swedish - infinitely thankful that she decied to make it easier for all of us by chosing that brand name 😅 - And as you say, she is brilliant at what she do - a true designer/inventor - love to see what she comes up with, like these wonderful dice.

This actually reminds me of the idea I had for a site I worked on a while back. Whenever users needed to change a password, I used a random number generator to select 10 words out of a list of about 50,000 and display them to the user. The idea isn't to create a password itself, but to act as a seed for the user's mind, to help them come up with passwords that are easier to remember.

I started thinking about this same concept for all sorts of spheres of life (Simone and Laura admit that they got the idea from sex dice, and James Hoffman has a version for brewing coffee). I'm going to make a set (maybe today) for community activities: one die with an action (bake, serve, play, listen), one die with what group of people (family, neighbours, colleagues, strangers), one with results (food, music, laughter, silence, sweat). Please steal this idea if you like it. All the credit goes to Simone and Laura.

A wonderful addition to a Maker's space, for those of us whose various forms of AC/DC (All the various subsets of Attention Compulsive Deficit Condition) leave us Thunderstruck, chasingbrandom SQUIRREL!!!s around the shop, getting nothing done, and taking all day to do it. Even it we roll up "Trash-Vehicle-Not Useful" (probably flown by Rocket Raccoon) and say "Screw that, I'm upgrading my dust collection!", it's still beneficial, because it can help to generate focus. I can't afford a set today, but perhaps soon. I have a special shelf in my shop that they would live on.
