Whatever mic Bill was using is tripping me out... 😅 If I didn't have video to tell me otherwise, I'd swear up and down that he was talking to Adam over something like a Zoom-call and using the computer's cheap built in webcam microphone. 😋

Next step, automation / bringing it to life. I so badly want to add a couple motors and a tiny MCU and make the thing zip around.

And TIL there were two Ambassador models. Almost as shocking as the original 1701 model reappearing after 3 decades.

I got a strong feeling and evident from the trailer that Acolyte is gonna be Disney trash again but character design is lots of fun to follow helps to get the inspiration going great build sad its a print tho :/

1'45" - exhaustively discussing "near misses" is called a Culture of Safety in the construction trades ... as you found out, it works wonderfully ... safety is part of the job ...

I would love to see a little puppetry and lights added to this build to really bring out the personality. What a fun project! Maker tech is amazing these days.

It's interesting to me that Adam mentioned them both as separate brands because I owned a guitar similar to this that was called a Bruno Conqueror.

I've tried Fusion 360 before and found it quite difficult to wrap my head around, what people like Bill can do so (seemingly) effortlessly with it is almost like magic to me

I really hope this show is good. It looked like it could be from the trailer but the writing has been pretty lame from the last few shows they’ve put out

I don't know if Adam would be eligible or not for the contest. But it does look like a droid one would find in Star Wars.
@j.r.savage32852 сағат бұрын
You what I like about this design is that it looks like some in universe droid engineer/enthusiast took an old battle droid’s head and made a new cute and quirky droid for fun.

7:15 - I love that as soon as I saw the 3D CAD render, I immediately knew the physical object that the "exhaust pipe" was from. I have that same physical object.

Ah, I see now, this is a sales drive for Autodesk (no purchase necessary?) I've never been a fan of 'never own' software. Licensing is, and always has been, a scam. There are free, or cheaper, alternatives to Fusion. I'm saddened that you and Bill have become shills for 'the man'.
