Talking about a man making friends when he's old. I can entertain people, I certainly can listen, often until the other person has nothing more to say. I can be with people that I absolutely can't stand without them ever knowing it. I can be supportive and honestly concerned with people who I have no respect for, but I have no friends and have never had a friend because I've never met anyone who I actually enjoy associating with in my 71 years. My fault, or is life just unpredictable?
