Talking while training, doing math, etc. is underrated in my opinion. As long as the main focus is on the overall training and not on socializing. Silent, temple-like training is cool, but it doesn't necessarily prepare people for the reality of actual self-defense when all kinds of distractions, including talking, are likely. Another great video Adam. Always a pleasure to watch you move. I sure wish I lived closer. But...my wife is Canadian...so you never know. ;~) GB

;~) I am loving it. It's been two years now and while the chi sao stuff is still pretty hard, my punching and stamina as well as cardio have improved immensely. Unfortunately, our teacher just moved to Seattle for work and won't be down here in Southern Oregon very often, so we're basically now a small independent study group. But we know enough to soldier on and will hopefully get input from things like your videos. ;~) GB

Train train and train some more. You can't learn this if you don't train. None of it makes any sense if you don't train with a partner. So find soneone who wants to train with you and start learning. Is that good advice? I am no expert. I am saying what I think. Correct me if I need it please.
