The couch pays homage to their beginning. When they first started recording video and posting them on KZfaq, they recorded the videos with the five of them just sitting on, or standing behind a couch. The moving couch represents their journey, but as with all great stories, they end up right back at home.

I have watched several people react to this song. You are the first person to get annoyed with them walking on the couch with shoes on. I don't know why but I find that hilarious 🤣

The couch is one of the mainstays in PTX videos. A couch is used in over 20 of their videos....videos like "Thrift Shop" and "I Need Your Love". At the beginning of their careers 10 years ago, most of their videos were set in this formation with 3 sitting on top of the couch and 2 sitting on the seat. It was a cheap backdrop. Many of their "Evolution of...." videos are also set this way. A pink couch is featured on the front of the album called "Home" they released during the pandemic a year ago. Glad you liked it. The couch is on a rolling contraption. There's a making-of video that shows it. The whole thing was shot outdoors, so any indoor object you see (lamp, fan, whatever) is clearly deliberately introduced and not an accident.

You saw the bass, Avi Kaplan, as a guest singer in Ring of Fire by Home Free. Avi is incredibly talented, and is classically trained. My understanding is that he was offered a position with a California opera company, but joined Pentatonix instead. The sofa has a motor. There's a video of the production team arguing with the damned thing. Sometimes it worked then sometimes it didn't. It liked Mitch though, and worked perfect so long as he was the only one on it.

Yeah, welcome to the rabbit hole that is Pentatonix! They have done so much awesome stuff I will just say, look at the selection, and if you like or don't like a song, react to that one.
