I created this compilation because I myself wanted a fairly long track filled with only the best, the most peaceful and the most nostalgic WoW music possible, all in one track.
This track along with: • Warcraft Music Compila... Are both tracks I made specifically to listen to while playing WoW.
Vanilla WoW Soundtrack Playlist: • World of Warcraft Zul'...
I hope you guys and girls out there find it as enjoyable as I do.

I was just thinking the same thing listening to this. Also a father now. 33 years old. Super Nostalgic. But I played it again recently... Not as fun anymore. The nostalgia is better than the actual game. lol.

The comments here are great - reminds me when people were easygoing and helpful in the game. I had to take a break because it was eating up my day. Scary how productive I am when I'm not checking Garrison missions.

There's still people like that ingame. :) I think more so now with Legion, it's bringing back curious adults, and I'm seeing/feeling a lot more maturity ingame and helpful behaviour and actually interesting and productive Trade Chat. Well, sometimes, lol! When it gets late. :P

Definitely the reason I only play over holidays. It's far too easy to get lost in it, especially when reading the lore alongside!

Or auction house dealings. Had a friend who downloaded some app on his phone that let him monitor his WoW auction house transactions. It was like watching a stock broker since it was always sending him text messages and alerts when a price dropped, something sold, etc. etc. on and on all day. He couldn't even have a conversation with me without that damn app always dinging at him. Sure, he made millions and was damn good at it, but too bad it was all fake gold in a video game. If only he applied that much time and smarts to real world stocks, damn son, he'd be able to buy Blizzard by now. Make his own auction house. It was kinda sad how much time was wasted being glued to his phone.

Even after so many years since I stopped playing, WoW still hold special place in my heart and still hold precious memories about this game. Whenever I listen music from WoW it always brings most warm feelings to my soul. No matter how many years will pass I will always remember the time I spend in WoW as the most beautiful time not only as gamer but as person.

I'm herb farming in Vash'ir while listening to this! You need good music for that boring place, or you'll lose your mind, lol! Kinda a shame it was so unpopular. Some hard working designers poured so much love into it. It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen....but it's a ghost town. :/ Really best traversed in druid water form, whether that be seal or whale. :)

Vash'ir was a cool idea in concept imo. Personally I wouldn't mind a zone that is half under water and half tropical islands. Sort of like a South Seas expansion kinda thing :P

Yeah! Kinda like Stranglethorn could have been! I love it's beaches, but apart from some annoying murlocs or something, there's not much underwater to do. I do remember being impressed by the coral down there though...all those years ago when I was a wide eyed baby druid exploring Azeroth's mysteries. Good times...good times.

i came over to wow from star wars galaxies in 2006 after sony screwed up swg with the nge. i was a feral druid and was destroyed by every other class in pvp and gained a reputation for running away in cheetah form everytime. i remember how scary stv was on a pvp server, that cluck sound of a rogues cheap shot coming out of no where scared the hell out of me.

This is nice. Sometimes i play this instead of the newer music. I'm in a bad mood today as well and it seems louder and more annoying than usual (Legion music) with the over-doing it. Its like a louder version of older stuff with opera like sounds throughout and its driving me mad. I like it calm with less of that loud high-pitched voicey stuff! >:/

Hey Christopher, I think your asking the wrong person mate, I only put together a compilation of WoW music that I liked. I didn't actually create any of it from scratch : ). If I had to recommend something though I would probably have to say, Jeremy Soule, Basil Poledouris and Jerry Goldsmith for instance the soundtrack for The Mummy, The 13th Warrior, Starship Troopers, Conan The Barbarian and so on. I also listen to a ton of game music like, Dungeon Siege, Warcraft, Diablo, Elder Scrolls, Trine and so on. Cheerio! : )

The first one is the classic wow Stormwind City theme, the second one is called ghost music. It's the music that plays while you run back to your body as a ghost when you got killed.

Why does every single WoW Music Compilation video ends the music in 30 to 60 seconds? And ends abruptly.

It was a personal decision I made, only including the (according to me) best parts of each individual song. Like I've said before I created this video for my own enjoyment and this is how I wanted it. : )
