Would it be possible to do the blue pipe with pvc pipe or with copper if you're not going to trench it (mine would go upwards to my balcony from the down-stairs spigot, so that I can water my balcony plants?

Nice job, but you should shield the little bit of exposed PEX you have from sunlight… it won’t hold up long with UV exposure.

So, by using the Splitter at the house connection, you have to leave it on all the time, correct? How well does the splitter actually work? Are some better than others? I've had some that don't have a good seal when turned off and have a slight drip.

The part you show for the braided line is different than the part listed in Amazon. The linked item pops up as 1" but you show 3/4" on both ends.

Are the lines non-toxic ie free of toxic lead, bisphenol A (BPA) and phthalates? i was intending on using water right's hoses to water but once i expand my garden i am going to need to figure out another way of watering. they have soaker hoses but getting the water out there is my concern. can you expand on your setup and all the buried piping?

Yes, these are water lines. Many new home have pex installed instead of copper these days. I don’t intend on expanding the buried part of the pex. However I can expand the dip line area if needed.

why do you have the water heater connector go from you existing spigot , then attach to the pex , instead of just using pex from your existing spigot ?

That's a good question - You could do that, however, I wanted something flexible for an easy attachment as the pex is pretty rigid. But, I think you could certainly use a 3/4" PEX Barb x 3/4" Female GHT, like this if you had a crimper - amzn.to/49OTaV6

Hi there! I am thinking about installing a similar water line out to my vegetable garden for installing a drip irrigation system and a hose reel. Have the SharkBite fittings and PEX-B pipe held up well underground? Have there been any leaks?
