@keeganedwards Thanks for the video! Question - did these steps and the logo shows to the left of “Your Business on Google”. But it didn’t populate for the Google Posts and that’s still a blue circle avatar. Any help with how to replace the avatar with the logo would be much appreciated!

Hi my friend, thanks so much for checking out the video. And great question! So, my inkling is that this will update automatically in a few days. Sometimes, Google takes a little while to sync the changes across the entire profile. Did this resolve for you now? If so, great! @keeganedwards: Is this what we need to do to get google's search listings to update the 'Favicon' to the left of our business name when appearing in google search listings? I haven't had success updating the default "earth" icon and getting my business logo as the Favicon instead. Thank you for your help!

Yes, exactly! Just as a heads up sometimes it takes Google 24 - 48 hours to sync the update after you make the change. But this should help you fix that favicon that appears in Google search listings.

This should update the photo in Google Maps too. It just may take a few days to sync. Let me know if you run into any trouble with it.

Hi Keegan, I'm having issues uploading my logo... Whenever I upload it it gives me an error and says something went wrong when uploading your logo. I am using the correct size as well just not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

Hey Andrew, That sounds frustrating! Thanks for reaching out. My first guess is that maybe the file size is too large. You may try "compressing" your logo file first and see if that helps. Here are a couple online tools to do it depending on if your logo is a PNG or JPG PNG: compresspng.com/ JPG: compressjpeg.com/ Try compressing your logo file size and re-uploading. If that doesn't work, let me know! -Keegan

First, I would be sure you are clicking on the add photo icon link. If you click the 'add photo' button on the photos section, you might not see the add logo option. So be sure you are clicking on the blue icon with the words add a photo. If you still don't see the "logo" option, I would contact Google Support. I'll share the video link for that.

Oh...King Google doesn't tell us that your logo may take a few days to show. I'm thinking it wasn't added correctly and then when you try to upload to the logo area - it won't upload if it has already been uploaded. As Tom Petty says..."It's good to be king, just for one day". THANK YOU sir for being clear where Google isn't on many many many situations. They certainly want us to be clear though, or we do not get fed. Lol
