Joshua had a lot of death in his family early in his life. He has died and come back. He's battled back problems and sickness. He surrendered to God along the way. He asked me to share this song with you as well • Zach Williams - "Rescu...

I am one month clean off cocaine, it feels good going to sleep at a normal time and waking up in the morning. I watch a lot of videos like this to help keep me sober and they work! Keep your sobriety going!

your story literally changed my life today! Thank you for telling your story. I've also been through many things and was addicted to pain medicine from a very painful illness and i got surgery and 4 years later my pain got better thanks to the surgery. I was on opiates for 10 years and now im on suboxone and let me tell you......it works and prevents withdrawels and cravings! im still on it since 2016! I'm not able to get off the suboxone because of my illness and other reasons. But thank you so much for telling your story! I pray you continue down God's path and plan for you in the name of Jesus. Take care!

Thank you for sharing. When i say i dont believe Suboxone is the answer, i dont mean it to put people down so i really hope that isnt how it comes accrossed. I am grateful that you and others lives are being saved, however it is not real freedom. I worry about what happens if someone looses their insurance and cant afford it. I worry that we are returning to the very same people who created and profited from the problem, to fix it. So they once again are profiting from the problem they created. They dont care about you or anyone but themselves and how much money they can make. Now they legally warn that these drugs are also addicted but covered themselves legally. I care about people and want them to be completely free to live. So yes i believe it is a tool but I pray that people dont see it as the answer. By the grace of God through faith in Jesus they continue to pray, and they work on getting free, believing it is possible because people like myself are proof. Proof of the miraculous work God.

@@joshuamichaelstewart296 i am on Suboxone currently, and you are absolutely correct. This is something I've seen firsthand. Granted, it is better than the alternative of the street. But, it isn't real freedom either. It could be a tool but most Drs don't care to use it that way.

I am only 10 minutes in and my heart is broken for you and it feels so raw. Yes I know because you're talking that there is a good ending. My 22 year old son is in rehab right now for fentanyl. My husband (his step dad who he is lucky to have a great relationship with) lost his son, my stepson 4 yrs ago to fentanyl. If anyone is reading this please pray for my son Geno. I pray for all who need it to be Blessed and Healed by God.

Don't know who this Shane guy is but he's doing god's work by spreading awareness of addiction and mental illness.. Too many folks think addiction is just weakness or inadequacy, that addicts are just no good druggies.. it often couldn't be further from the truth..

Very inspiring. Well done bud. The thing I found most shocking was the dude laid his hands on your Mom and THEN she married him - WTF!?!?! She really let you down. (PS theres no 'x' in "escape") 😊 Also you dont need a family to make you a man. Sometimes we really need to challenge & re-examine our ideas that we think are part of a fundamental belief system. Some of those ideas can stem from an immature part of ourselves, ignoring the updated info we have learned. BTW our partners in life need to be 'woke' - they need to educate themselves. NARANON is there for a reason. "If you would love me you would quit" is a crock right? Stay safe Bro xx
