Reishi Mushroom never ceases to amaze me. I've long known that it has benefits for both gut health and sleep health via various pathways, but it wasn't until I encountered this 2021 study that I fully understood that reishi is improving sleep health via it's impact on the gut microbiome.

Great stuff! As always Sage, I also found that Astragalus helps calm the nervous system, leading to relaxed sleep, iodine supplementation has also positive response, and may influence melatonin levels and finally, Bach Night Rescue Remedy taken before bedtime, works exceptionally well.

I tried this mushroom and T form and I had pain in the prostate area is there a reason for this?

That's very hard to say without in-depth information on the product used and how it was prepared, but reishi is generally regarded as being beneficial for prostate health.

Hi Raplh, its a tricky question and there's no research to my knowledge on reishi for tinnitus. BUT I have two unproven hypothesis to share. 1. Stress is generally known to make one more sensitive to tinnitus. If you take an herb like this that decrease your stress, in theory you should become less sensitive to tinnitus if stress is a factor in your case. 2. Inflammation also is thought to play a role in tinnitus. If you take an herb like this that decrease your inflammation, it seems logical that there may be beneficial effects in the tinnitus department. Both of these are totally unproven, but seem reasonably logical to me.

It’s important to keep in mind that there’s tremendous variation in quality of reishi products in the market.
