I think you're too harsh on the watch. I have it and it instantly became my GADA. I completely disagree about the bracelet. First off, it's amazing to get a solid bracelet *and* milled clasp at this price. I expect to pay many times more for this privilege at mainstream brands or established microbrands. And I find it very comfortable. I am not even a bracelet fan but decided to not swap it for a strap since it's so comfortable and I think it goes well with the design. It's - throw it on the wrist and forget it's there - level of confort. Another selling point apart from the dial is the mechaquartz movement which mimics a mechanical one, and barely gets any mention in your review. I know it's by now fairly commom but it's still fairly new and I think worth mentioning. And again, getting a Japanese mechaquartz mvt at this price is pretty insane. Just a few months ago I thouhht I was getting a good deal by spending +100 gpb on a geckota with this same movement.

I never planned on owning this watch but for a daily beater I might give it a go.

Good review 👌🏻. I own the light blue variant, on a black leather strap - it does gets a very dressy and classy look. I’m thinking of buying the white dial version too, or the automatic and bigger one.

I have this watch, and like the head of it, but you're 100% right with the bracelet. Mine squeaked and the links got stuck together... threw it on a nato and now it is a nice little watch i can wear around.

I'm surprised that you didn't mention the design inspiration taken from Grand Seiko

I have a AD2030 in this colour that I purchased when the watch first came out (I got it second hand from a YT reviewer who raved about it) and it is fantastically well made, bracelet included. I was so impressed by it for the £50 I paid I have also bought the white one (in the same sale you did). the bracelet is noticeably worse quality. It is thinner, nowhere near as well finished and that clasp has all the issues you mentioned. Visibly the two bracelets are extremely similar with the final link at the clasp being the only obvious difference and I can see from you video you have the crappy bracelet version. It seems like either: -Addiesdive ship the worse ones when the watch is bought at the sale price -They changed the bracelet at some point to save money and never said anything -They send nicer ones to reviews so it looks better on the video There definitely some conspiracy going on here 🧐

I have to agree. The metal bracelet is awful and even with a black latex strap added to my desert one it still looks wrong. Too flashy without the quality to back it up. Not right as a holiday/swimming watch either so a "beater" it has to be as it is not, in my view, worth the effort of selling.

I could say litteraly say the same thing with the f91w i can't even wear it for a minute

I can tell you haven't had to do any graft in your lifetime. Maybe the bracelet is harsh on your baby soft skin, but for a real man, it's not a problem.
