I love the depth the indigo and sepia inks add to the pages. I could see this little book becoming the background of a family album for gnomes in the forest.

I am loving the ripped fabric connecting the pages. The indigo color ink has been added to my wish list. I guess that makes you an influencer.

This was a fun prompt! I totally understand the grungy fingers problem. Between the gardening and my inability to get near an art project without getting my hands in it, my fingers and fingernails are in a constant state of grunge. I have redefined this as Happy Hands. It has the added advantage that if I’m waiting somewhere I can always occupy myself with peeling paint and matte medium off my finger tips. Seriously though, I am loving this project and I’m looking forward to next week already.

Yes! Happy Hands 🙌 I’ve seen me come in from the garden and sit down to film and though I think I’ve scrubbed my hands and nails I still see the dirt! I think filming shows it up in minute detail. And yes, I’ve done that peeling paint and medium thing lol. Glad you are enjoying doing this - I’m enjoying seeing the pages you create.

Beautiful! Thank you for sharing the leftover paint tip. I have one of those little palettes and don’t use it but it’s perfect for those little touches like the gold. ❤

Thank you. I find the little palette useful when I’m just using a small amount of paint and it’s also useful for when I’m filming as my filming space is quite tight and it can be hard to have my main palette in it. Thanks for watching and commenting 💗

Kylie, I really like what you did with the small tag. This journal is turning out so grungy pretty! Did you say what kind of fabric your using for the hinges? I really like how it tears and has the wonderful raggy edges! ❤

Thank you. I think the fabric is a linen of some sort. I got it from Hobbycraft in a fat quarter bundle. There are 4 different types of fabric in the bundle but when I double checked the website they just refer to them as being natural fabrics. It is certainly one of those that is good for tearing. I would be very happy to send you a piece if you message me your contact details.
