You remember my finger swipe with milk paint? I used that acrylic pour in this video! You want to see how it was made? Click here: • Gorgeous Finger Swipe!...
This is the first part of a three parts series on how to easily transform an acrylic pour painting.
In this video I'm showing you how I add color to a dry acrylic pour without hiding any details. I only use Golden's High Flow Acrylics since they're highly pigmented and don't leave any paint brush strikes on the painting. For the first layer I add paint with a paintbrush and then wipe it slightly with a paper towel. To get a deeper color I add more layers but only use my finger to wipe off the excess paint not to leave marks. I then added some shadow to start giving it more depth. I'll continue the transformation in the second video!
Paint used in this video:
High Flow Acrylics:
-Sap green Hue
-Green gold
-Transparent yellow oxide
-Transparent red iron oxide
-Diarylide yellow
-Shading Grey
Fluid acrylic:
-Payne's Grey
