Great video man. My sugestion for the back landing gear is that you change the fuselage design to fit just the weels and dont glue anything else.

Observation Jef, the nose wheel is facing the wrong way. Coil forward to work as absorber.

very cool. most people fly planes with the throttle stick pretty tight on the tx. Sometimes even with a little clicking/ratcheting feel. That would probably help stability on your left hand. You could also add expo or lower the rate for yaw.

It's already pretty tight right now and yes I did lower the rate too. I have never had a plane that had landing gear, all hand thrown and belly landers.

I used similar gear on a LW-PLA hand launch EDF, however I cut out pockets for the mains as well. I think if you flip the mounts and sink them into the fuselage you will have better results.

Oh my God! My fingers were so numb I couldn't even feel the radio. I just wanted to land in a hurry. But yes, that landing was a little hot.

@@JeffDoesThis Maybe consider shortening the motor delay and the spin-up time so that the model doesn't sag so much when starting.

If you are talking about auto launch, mine is set 50ms, and my idle throttle is at 1750, launch throttle 1950. It's pretty much wot at launch.

It is 50ms. I have 4 other aircraft that I autolaunch and this one is just pain for some reason. I thinking it has to be the weight of the craft.

You antenna nulls are pointing to your sides instead of up and down on your TX. Supposedly this gives a much smaller coverage area on most T antenna because you just get the lobe front and back like a donut turned on its side instead of the donut all the way around with the weak area right over head. Maybe it works better with your antenna orientation on its side I guess.
