Need help installing the OEM Bi-LED Tundra headlights and conversion harness first? Watch this install video where we show you how to remove the Tundra grille, remove the halogen headlights, and install the brighter LED headlight housings. In this video, Chris will show you how to install the DRL harness which allows the new LED DRL to function when no DRL existed previously in the original stock lights.
Note: If your current 2014-2018 Toyota Tundra has halogen headlights with no built-in LED DRL, you'll need this harness when upgrading to the Tundra OEM Bi-LED headlight housings. The Tundra OEM LED headlight housings have a built-in LED DRL.

I just installed mine this morning. It was easy and the look of those daylight running lights is great. I slow-walked the install and it took me about two hours. Can't wait until dark so I can see the difference at night. HR, you guys are great.

I believe you guys left out this part for guys like me that has the SR5 wo/DRL from factory...Compatible: Though the harness itself is completely plug n play, due to the fact that the new headlights use a 7443 front turn signal bulb inside the lights versus the original 3157/4157 - you will just need to re-pin the connector coming from your truck in order to make the blinker work properly. Simply swap the purple & black wire, and voila! good to go...do a video on that please!!!!!

Exectly they left that out I just did it on mine ..the turn signal bulbs got really hott so you gotta check on them often

Thanks for addressing this as my 2016 turn signal hyperflashes with new lights so I'm assuming i have to use the old bulb or upgrade to LED.

So my 17 sr5 hyper flashes only when headlights are on. But works fine when drls are on. Any way on how to fix this?

@@johnnycarrasco5593 yes. But their is a way to turn them off and get them to work when you use your signal but it requires you to go under the steering wheel or dash I never did that part

Is the only solution running into the fuse box is to set the cover over the fuse tap wire? Is there a better way to fish though a existing garment? Or is there no risk for moisture entering just setting the lid over the wire?

Hi Wes Miller here, kinda of new to your channel. You got my attention before because of you good info. I have a 2014 limited Tundra, they do not have DRL. What setting on hand control do they work with? Is it on the auto setting?

The DRL will come on with ignition when you install the DRL harness kit from us. It won't be controlled by the headlight switch.

I have a 2017 Tundra with the amber OEM DRL (non LED DRL) I bought some 2021 Tundra OEM headlights with factory amber DRL and white LED DRL that I am going to install. I ordered the the H126-LED 14-20 Tundra OE LED HEadlight Conversion (trucks w/o OE LED DRL). The packages came in and has 2 H126 harnesses and 1 H126.1 Harness. Is this the correct kit and will I need to use the H126.1 harness in this kit? I think I only need to use the 2 H126 harnesses?

I am swapping my gen 2 front end with my gen 3. So the 14+ headlight models will fit my car but are the wirings on the 2007 the same as the 2014? Is there anyway I could get around this?

This is amazing but I ran into a little problem... so the thing is that the turn signals on both sides the don’t blink when you put you put your turn signal on either side, the light that it’s supposed to blink, it barely dims with the turn signal, but when it’s of it turns on and off as it should. Do y’all know what it is ???? Or if I did something wrong???? Please

Happiness short live.I installed the LED headlights and tested ok, everything worked, turn signal, LED DRL looked beautiful, low beam, high beam, worked, not yet tested motor for low-high. Closed the hood and start the engine.... it's cranked but not start, try several times, still not start, re-installed the fuse with no fuse adaptor like not using DRL light, no start, reboot the computer by removed battery terminal and put back, still engine crank but not start. Cal and left the message. Replaced the old lights and the engine started again. Obviously the new electrical is an issue, still waiting for call back for help.

I think I found my problem the fuse, both fuses need to e in fuse tap provided, one from the truck that was removd and one came with the harness. Will try to install again tomorrow.

Update. I re-installed the headlights with two fuses, the engine is working again because yesterday I did not insert the truck's fuse as said. Not enough time to re-pin for the turn signal, so tuen signal only works when no DRL/HL, but will do re-pinning tomorrow.

Trying re-pin but the pin not comming out as easy. I try to push at the silver terminal ending bent it, luckyly I was able to straighten that pin, they still not comming out. What is the trick here?

What blue fuse is that? My wire kit came with a red not blue.

If your's is red, that's not a problem. I believe that Morimoto updated the harness a few months ago!

Question: I installed everything as it should be but my turn signals hyper flash only when the headlights are on. Also installed led oem fog lights at the same time. And I do have led license plate lights which I noticed now stay on regardless of which position the headlight switch is. Any solution/help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey! I have a 2017 tundra and I purchased the Vland aftermarket lights for my truck. It doesn’t have Drl, so I took the truck to an automotive to have installed and they said when they turned on the blinkers, the lights inside the truck blinked instead of the turn signal lights. Any idea what could ha e happened? An install issue?

Unfortunately we are not familiar with that brand. It sounds like there may be a wiring issue.

I have the same issues after installing this DRL conversion harness. Installed on a 2017 Toyota tundra trd pro. I have hyper blinking with blinking lights around my climate controls. Did you find out this issue???

I just installed pretty simple. But Blinkers won’t signal when headlights are on, only signal when they are off. Having hyper flashing turn signals. Could it be because of the LED build I switched for the regular bulb ?

It is separate. That would be the DRL harness. The conversion harness is different. You will need both.

Miguel Costilla I did not, i been bit busy... but from what I got from the there IT rep is that all that was purchased on my end is what going to be utilized for it to work.. So I can’t find the conversion kit plug-ins on my truck, don’t know if that last guy that service my truck to rig up some hi-id cut them off for rigging... ( Mexican rig work) Hope this helps..

Will this harness work for my 17 tundra trd pro with amber lights no DRLs if I want to install aftermarket headlights with a black housing that has DRLs and not the OEM lights. If it will could you tell which aftermarket lights have good light output and maybe sequential turn? I want good ones just not able to drop $1k on lights. Thanks guys!

But I was hoping for it to have the black housing which is the color housing that my TRD PRO come with. I am open to suggestions on which headlights I should get. Thanks

I personally wouldn't go with Anzo headlights, we have seen way too many issues with them. Have you checked out the Morimoto headlights? They look awesome, and perform even better. Plus, no extra harness is needed. headlightrevolution.com/2014-2020-toyota-tundra-xb-led-headlights/

You would have had to order the DRL harness to have the fuse that you are referring too. That is to allow for the DRL to function like normal, even if your vehicle didn't come with them from the factory!

Installed these on my 2016 SR5 non DRL car. Hooked up the adapter to the fuse box. Now turn signals only work with low beams off and only DRL. Also getting rapid turn signal on taillights. Any thoughts?

So blinkers are working fine. It’s just that they stay on while the drls are on instead of only coming in when the blinker is on

Headlight Revolution my tacoma only has four connectors for the headlights, it does not have the one for the drl.

If you don't have a DRL on that vehicle, then you are totally good to go! Those headlights will really upgrade the safety of those lights, and also the look of the vehicle!🔥

I have a 2016 Tundra SR5, it technically has DRL using the turn signal bulbs, it does not have the LED strip along the bottom. Does that still require this adapter or just the standard plug and play adapter?

The Amber's being on doesnt really classify it as drl. So yes you will need the second adapter.

my 15 toyota tundra sr5 does not have the 4 pin power (at least i cant find it). is there anything you guys have that'll work around it?

I watched this hoping to figure out what “DRL” meant... the fact that you use the acronym about a dozen times without ever actually saying what it stands for is mind numbing. Basic rule of instruction: always state what the acronym means once BEFORE using it, and then use the acronym going forward. SMH

If you don’t know how to rewire electrical components it’s better to have pros install..you can really fuck up stuff if you don’t know what your doing

Those will totally work for your 2020 Tundra! They are a fantastic product, and really get you an increase in safety with that added light output!
