Adding Queen Cell to Mini Nuc

In this video, Nick Bentham-Green explains how he installs his queen cells and virgin queens into his mini nucs before resting them and taking them to the mating apiary.
Remember to wash your flash spray bottle out thoroughly before filling with water to use on the bees! (Nick explains this in the bee stocking video).

Thank you for the great video ! Can we directly introduce a virgin queen or a queen cell to the nuke or we have to wait 24 hours after it is made ?

We have found that you can run a recently emerged virgin into a nuc straight away. If you are introducing a cell to a freshly made up nuc with bees that have come from a queen-right colony, you are better protecting the cell before introducing it. Did you just make the plastic type inner cover or can those be purchased?

They come as part of the Apidea. The cheap Chinese ones don't have them.

the purpose is that bees forgot old place and start like new colony, I do in the same way and the method is very successful
