I was curious to ask if people have compared queen acceptance rates to when the queen actually was installed? Like for example, if you set up either a split or put a queen in a colony as soon as its queenless compared to leaving it queenless for a few days before installing and comparing the queen acceptance numbers on both types. And do you think this matters? Thanks.

Phil... Do you have a TBH Nuc "How to Build" plan, or details available ? Question : Are TBH sides "Slopped" to make drawn Comb 'Stronger attached ' to the Top Bar itsrlf ??? .... Think both of you share similar ideas... 💪 * My kind of woodwork skill I can cobble together, with above tools and wood scrap. Sloping sides, look a bit more challenging ! ( 😱 ) So can a Horizontal Hive (TBH) be rectangle in internal space. Could TB's be made with Wire Loops at each end to support said 'freshly drawn' weak comb ? ** Know your mini quadratic hives (one of your other videos) used strips of galvanised mesh sides... Not seen same on your bigger Horizontal TBH ? Any reason why ??? Hope you can help before, I try a DIY TBH 'attempt.'
