I've never been able to wear a shirt with these nifty thumb-holes in the cuffs because shirts usually do not have long enough arms for me. Imagine my excitement to finally have this wool jersey shirt be the coziest it can possibly be!

Thanks for telling us when wrong side or right side of fabric was facing us. This was so much easier to follow than the placket demo was. I, too, have never been able to experience thumbhole cuffs, but I have the opposite configuration from you: Sleeves are always way too long for my short arms and I am always rolling the cuffs to make them shorter.

Good video! I did this last week before seeing your video. Where I got tripped up though was when it came to sewing the thumb hole seams. I couldn’t figure out how to smoothly seam the thumbholes because it wouldn’t fit on my machine (even with the table arm taken off). I’d like to see how you closed up the thumbhole seams on your machine.

I love these. I actually had a dream the other night and I was figuring out this puzzle, too. I tried Melly Sews technique the other day, it worked, but I think I'm going to like yours better. I feel like you and I have a similar way with spatial perception. Love your videos! :-D

Ok thanks. I checked under tee shirt hacks but didn’t see it. I was thinking of a boat neck or slash neck. Not sure if they were the same. Off the check that link
