Where the blue valve is, mine has nothing. Could it be anywhere else? It has a pump attached I dunno if they all do? I've just moved in and not seen this type boiler before 😅

Hey, kind of depends how the installer has fitted the boiler. There could be valves that need turning to increase the water pressure. Very hard to say without seeing it.

I dont have this blue pull down part on my one. Its the exact same boiler too which was only fitted Dec 2022. What do i do now? Thanks in advance

You possibly have an auto filling setting in the menu. Ive not come across one without the blue lever in all my work unfortunately

Thank you for this vid, can you help? When I pull the blue valve it sounds like the system is having a problem filling up (like the water is straining to get through), should I switch off the boiler completely and then try to fill up? I was at 0.9 bar and it went up to 1.0 after about 30 seconds but then didn't go up any further (kept pulling for about another 30 seconds) but there wasn't a steady stream of water. Does that sound like there's a problem?

You need to hold the blue valve for longer sometimes it takes awhile but you will see the pressure go up via the display.

But what if you aint got the automatic filling valve and its a filling loop

Go on the same menu and open the valve and turn off once at 1.5bar.

mines on 9 ...how long will it take to get to 1.0 ???...seems nothing is happening...your vid seems to be cut short.

0.9?? If so then yeah it takes awhile to increase pressure so i cut the clip down. It will go bit takes awhile

I literally had the same problem check you've not got a clip on white cover at the bottom. You'll need to remove that first to access the blue lever

@@RonaldoIStheboy hi i think we’ve fixed it now by calling someone out? but when i removed the bottom white part there is still no blue lever so i have no idea what’s going on there😭

@@jinjinjiniya hi, it depends how the installer has fitted it. They may of added some valves on the cold feed pipe. Hard to say without seeing it.

My pressure is showing at 1.9 I want it to come down to 1.2 at least but how do I go about that? I’m not good when it comes to boilers 🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

@@ZAK19857 fastest way is to let water out of one of your radiators. Ive done a video on this if you take a look 👌

I hate these digital displays. Slow reaction time. I'll fill mine up to 1.2 and think it's fine. Come back a few hours later and it's much higher.

One admentment to this video. Some boilers, (same make / model) have a white square plastic block. To carry out a repressurisation, carefully turn this anticlockwise, then clockwise when your boiler is repressurised

Its probably in the settings and is automatic then. Get the guy to show you how to add the pressure. Will save you £100 in future for a plumber to visit.

You may have a stainless steel line with a black valve on

You need to remove the white panel under boiler, two push clips. Then look up to the right.

We have this boiler and it has no blue key leaver..it's bloody murder because it's meant to automatically refill for you and it doesn't. Even when going into the menu to top up pressure I can't do it. So we have to keep calling engineers out all the time

If you do this then the water temp goes to 18 degrees then drops once you turn the hot tap on what does that mean?

You have simply added cold water to the boiler so temp will go down.

@@lukemitcheson1171 boiler should fire up when you turn the hot taps on. If it’s not doing this there seems to be another isssue.

@@darrensdiy4769 yeah you hear it fire up then the temperature drops until 14 degrees then eventually the error 247 code comes on and repeat, no problems with it til today either, will have to get a plumber out then by the sounds of it, anything I could try before I do that?
