So I noticed Dior added a new shade called "Beige" to their lip glow line up - do you think I should give it a shot even though I've never been successful in my endeavor to find a neutral PH adjusting balm? LOL!

I believe you on the mint drying your lips. I learned that mint is actually a dehydrating ingredient especially if there is not enough other moisturizing ingredients.

The CeraVe healing ointment was a life changer for dry winter lips. Put some in a small tin to use just for lips. Thanks Dr. Dray.

Love glosses and balms!!! Chapstick Total Hydration in coconut and vanilla are my favorite nourishing balm and burt's bees tinted balms in pink blossom and sweet lilac are my favorites. I also like the Ulta tinted jelly balms I have 4 of the 5 and they have just barely any color and feel fantastic

Two of my favorites: 1) the Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm in the shade Ripe Raspberry - it’s a very pigmented cherry red in the tinted balm category and drug store price range. The other shades are more sheer. 2) the Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm - oh so delicious scents in a night time clear balm and a .25 oz tube lasts forever!

I recently just took the plunge on the lip balm tint. I'm so glad you mentioned Ulta Beauty lip oil. I recently got a few shades and have enjoyed them. I also got Sephora Collection melting lip click lip balm and oh my goodness. I got back ups of my favorite colors. They were definitely a surprise.

The new Tarte Maracuja juicy lip is the most amazing lip balm I’ve ever used. It’s difficult to describe but it feels fluffy like wearing marshmallow on your lips and it’s so cushiony. I bought the shade orchid and initially it’s deeper in color but then sheers out so nicely. I’m totally in love!💄💋

I really don't buy drug store makeup, but Revlon has a very nice line of lip balms with sunscreen. I always have one or two in my pocket during the spring and summer. Also, Burts Bees tinted lip balm in Rose is fantastic!

I absolutely have a problem with buying too many lip balms, especially tinted balms. Lately I’ve been most frequently using Fenty Sheer Shiny Lipstick in Makeout Break, Milani Color Fetish Shine Lipstick in Lingerie (it leaves behind a pretty tint / stain), and elf Sheer Slick Lipstick in Black Cherry. Nuxe Reve de Miel is my all time favorite untinted lip care product. Just so good! Excited to try some of your suggestions that are new to me. Oh, and I have the lemon Fresh one and like it a lot.

You have got to try the Glossier Ultralip lip balm. They are fabulous sheer color lip balms. I love lip balms!

My favorite lip balm is Kobee’s Coconut Vanilla. It feels lovely on the lips, it’s affordable, the packaging is sustainable, and it’s a Black-owned brand.

Hey Shelbey, I too love a good lip balm, in the standard tinted Chapstick category I would definitely add Nivea do a lovely emollient formula and Burt's Bees again, lovely formula and they do a few different shades/flavours. With us wearing masks for the past year, a tinted lip balm is just a no brained product and I too love a clear gloss. I'm a MUA and I didn't start wearing colour on my lips til I was in my 30s (38 next month. I've always been a glossy juicy lip kinda girl. You look radiant and beautiful, motherhood is clearly suiting you. Lots of love from the UK xxxx

Favorite affordable lip sleeping mask is the Sweet Chef one (Sweet Chef is Glow Recipe's sister brand, I think). They used to have it at Target, I haven't found it at mine forever, so I've just been ordering off Amazon. $15 - so good.

I currently have 3 open elf Calm Balms at the moment: one in my purse, one by my bed, and one on my desk. It's so good. Their Sheer Slick Lipstick is just like the Calm Balm formula but with pigment (and no cannibus sativa, presumably). I also enjoy elf's Jelly Pop Juicy Gloss. If you like flavored balm, Vaseline Lip Therapy is great. My favorite is Creme Brulee. Some of your suggestions were honestly on my list, I'll have to get them a try! 💄💄💄

I love the coconut lanolips & the coconut fourth ray lip mask. I put both up against my high-end balms, but I do loooove my huda silk balm & leneige lip glowy balms.

I love the Nars dolce vita lip balm and the fresh sugar lip treatment in rose! I also dislike pH adjusting lip colors, they always look too bright and cool toned on me. I need to get the new glossier ultra lips, they look so nice, especially the shade Villa. I’ve only tried one lip oil, the one from merit beauty in the peach shade, and it’s actually a really nice formula and the shade is more of a peach-pink Nude. It’s really nice

I am loving the Kopari lip balms. Very moisturizing, and hydrating . I have other lip balms that I love to.

I am looking forward to trying a few of these. In my opinion, the Sugar Fresh products are useless. They feel emollient on, but wear off and leave my lips unhydrated and sometimes even drier than before. And as far as the Glossier products, I try to use products without petroleum. I agree with the Ph shade adjusting color lip colors. Totally Fuschia on me. I’ve wasted so much on them. The Bobbi Brown and Clinique were drying on me. So, thank you for this review! It was very helpful.

I *love* the ysl lipstick balms as a tinted balm...I have 4 shades and just find them sooo comfortable, the shades are beautiful, and they have a gorgeous, natural non-sticky shine.

I go through balm like crazy. I have a stash of my Chap Ice and one on me at all times and reapply throughout the day as needed. Interested to hear what others use. I like the Essence Fruit lip balms but I have to have another balm on underneath, there is something in that product that dries my lips out if I wear it on it's own. Nice video!

You would LOVE the Mamonde Lip Sleeping Mask! They used to sell it at Ulta but you can still get on Amazon and a few other websites. I think it's WAY better than the Laneige one.

The ultimate lip treatment is aquaphor. Can't live without it. Clinique black honey is my holy grail lipstick! I have seen pink honey here and there, but it's hard to get.

I love the Laneige lip mask and will def get me more once my big pot of it is done.

SAIE LIP BALM is amazing and new. Its like a thick gel, tinted in a squeezy tube.

Lip balm could seriously drain my bank account and I'd be fine with it. I think Karima McKimmie did a video comparing lip balms but I'm so looking forward to your thoughts on different formulas. I literally searched "Shelbey Wilson lip balm" just now and found that you'd uploaded that exact video within the hour 😂

Laneige is my go to every night. It really changed how non dehydrated my lips are. I used to use Vasoline and then Aquaphor lip therapy (which was a game changer), but Laneige is perfect for me now and lasts nearly 1.5 years using every night. I love a good gloss, but dislike sticky ones Pixi SilkGloss is my favorite. They only come in a geltint/gloss combo and sweet gloss (combo with a berry tint) is closest to my natural lip color. It's not sticky, it doesn't dry out my lips and it natural shiny looking. The Marc Jacob's Enamored lip gloss stick is another favorite of mine for a nourishing lip product with a little color and a little shine. For drugstore, I like Loreal Shine Lipstick in Varnished Rosewood, it has more color like a lipstick but the comfortable feeling of a balm and shine of a gloss.

I highly recommend the Caramel Fresh lip balm. Also I am incredibly impressed with EOS again. They have to have reformulated it because every single one I’ve tried recently is amazing. From scent to hydration it’s a 10/10 for sure. I unfortunately had a bad response with the Laneige berry sleep mask. I’m interested in trying the vanilla and sweet candy before fully ruling it out. I also do want to try the glow balm in gummy bear. I wish they made more flavors in it or at least offered sweet candy and vanilla as well. I heard the gummy bear does smell very grape like which I’m very picky with grape scents. I need to try it in store before committing. I thought about maybe getting the berry in it if I didn’t like the gummy bear. They did come out with a daily use balm that is comparable to the mask but meant for all day use. I have not tried that one either. I first got the Nars Lip Glow and Lip Oil in Orgasm and loved it. Seeing that I recently decided to finally treat myself to the Dior Addict lip glow in Pink. I grabbed the lip maximizer and lipstick from the Dior Addict line and am waiting for to currently arrive. I do have to say i understand why so many people rave about it. It’s amazing. Maybe for you I wokld recommend getting the “Universal” one since the pink makes your lips hot pink. It’s clear so you won’t have to worry about the issue or your lips being that bright pink. I will grab the Laneige sleep mask but not the all day treatment (right now). I need to grab the gummy bear because people rave about them. The final new lip product I’ve tried recently is the TooFaced Lip Injection Lip Balm. It’s really nice and I have already noticed a change and I’m very impressed because it hasn’t even been a full week since I got it! Have to make sure it’s the lip balm and not the lip glosses. I cannot find any videos on YT with. The lip gloss line and original lip injection line, are all over YT; just not the balm which is from the same line as the glosses. All that being said, for the most affordable lip balm, I really recommend heading to target and trying out an EOS balm. The sticks are definitely more travel friendly but I do carry the sphere if that is the only option for that flavor/scent. I’m sorry for the super long message. Hope you have a wonderful week!

ME TOO! Have to have chapsticks! I also love lip oils...not all of them though. I have them everywhere. Currently loving the Sol Janeiro lip butter. I know it is personal preference but I love the fat application because I put it all around my lips as well. ❤ Just wanted to add that I don't care for the glosses that do not have a doe foot. The squeeze kind that apply directly to your lips. Yuk...just me😊

La Roche Posay has a lovely "chapstick" product. It is a drugstore product but it is fairly pricey. But so good. And Klavuu has the best lip sleep mask EVER.

Have you tried the burts bees lip shine? They are exactly the hybrid balm/gloss you mention in the video. They have amazing colours and a fantastic scent. I have a bunch of them.

I love my are Lin Lip oil during the day and good old Vaseline at night.

I love the Bite Beauty Agave for nighttime. Give it a try.

You have to try Tower28’s lipgloss if you haven’t yet. Super shiny and feels more like a balm than anything else I’ve ever tried. Oh and it smells like coconut!

I scatter the Nivea everywhere - it replaced the Neutrogena I was having trouble tracking down. They're in my purse, car door pocket, end table, etc. I finally splurged on the Laniege sleeping mask - I decanted a big blob to a tiny jar to keep in my bag. Maybe it's because I'm so dry, dehydrated, but it's nothing like Vaseline, IMO - I find Vaseline just occlusive whereas the Laniege is treating, moisturizing and occlusive to me.

This couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. We just moved to another state and my lips have been so chapped and dehydrated 😭

I use the Laneige Vanilla lip mask every night. I prefer clear lip balms. I brought the Laniege lip treatment balm which is a newer product in a pink jar and suggesed for daytime use. It has a strong mint feel and irritated my lips. Also everyone raves about the City Lips glossy lip product but again it has a minty feel and irritates my lips. Love this video. Can't wait to try your recommendations.

Watching this, plus just saw a more recent video where you also mention one from Avene. Ive never really had the need much for a lip balm but they were feeling a bit dry so decided to get something. Someone said on a video that the purple wet n wild lip mask was a dupe for the laneige. So picked it up and totally messed my lips up!! Pretty much like a chemical burn. Been struggling ever since. Tried a few things, even got something recommended by a dermatologist. After no relief even plunked down the outrageous $$ and bought the Hourglass lip oil. Still nothing worked well? Wondering out of all you've tried which you'd recommend as the best? Don't mind the pots if that's your top bc you mainly want to wear at night and even to bed..
