I can literally imagine the music video, A girl standing, she raises her hand and touches the guy’s face. Tears streaming from her eyes, but when the chorus is played.. she sets her lover on fire. Her lover screams in pain, she cries out loud seeing him. But she can’t do anything, because she knows that constantly he would be hurting her again and again, they will be even more toxic if she goes on, she will have nothing left if they continue, the only way is to end this love. Love is beautiful, but can be poisonous if too much, she loves him, but she has to get rid of him, because he is not the real one, he will constantly hurt her, she can only end this By setting fire to the rain. Everything In slowmotion. This is just one of my random thoughts nothing else. This was the first Adele song I heard when I was 9-10 years old. I heard this on the radio and I kept repeating the lyrics to later find it on the On Demand channel on Cable TV. We didn’t have WiFi at that time to browse on the Internet nor a tablet/iPhone to search. The On Demand channel which had music videos and I typed the lyrics I remembered and the song appeared so when I heard it I knew I had to have it on CD. I didn’t know where to buy it, so I went to a local music place in a Swapmeet. I had to choose 10 songs to put in a CD and the first song I choose was this one. Every time I listen to this song, I remember the nostalgia. I miss those days.

I have an ex who got damn near killing me. Busted my head with a wine glass, beat me with a metal bat, left me homeless, and didn't even get charged for it. I stayed with my me for about 2 year then my dad I hadn't seen since I was 9 showed up, killed her with 16 stabs, while I clad 911 and hid. Luckily when my ex nearly killed me, my neighbour heard the whole thing. Where would I be now without her. I went homeless for 10 months, found a job, got a wife, 2 kids, great paying job. Happy as can be. I still have scars from these events. I have Depression, anxiety disorder PTSD, and Insomnia. Thank you for reading!

Adele and Evanesence helped 2get my voice back after a brutal battle against a severe lung infection. I could sing soprano... opera even... but I couldn't sing at all after the infection, my lungs are still scarred, but because of Adele and Amy Lee... I can sing again.
