I'm not seeing a lot of the stuff that I think is best in the new Sisters and I'm not understanding why not. First, nobody is running any Castigators; Castigators Autocannons are really good this edition. 10-man Space Marine squads don't survive a round of fire from a Castigator at 24" typically. Second, Palatine and Dialogus paired to a Battle Sisters squad packing a Multi-Melta and Ministorum Flamer. They aren't at all tanky, but they're exceptionally powerful offensive group; lethal hits makes them able to deal damage to vehicles, and the Dialogus means one guaranteed wound with the Multi-Melta for d6(+2) damage from cover -- even on an Overwatch, which is sometimes game-changing. This is doubly true since, on a charge, you can trash one of your bad miracle dice to deal mortals any time the Palatine successfully wounds (whether they save or not), which makes charging worth it and drastically change the outcome of an encounter. Third, Canoness and Hospitaller paired to Battle Sisters. This creates a very tanky squad; 3+ save, 6+ invuln, and 5+ FNP results in a squad that doesn't want to die and gets +1 to hit pretty constantly. Further, the Canoness can overcharge her plasma pistol with impunity, FNP one of the mortals on average if she fails the hazardous roll, and then be full strength at the end of your next movement no matter what from the Hospitaller. Anyone have any opinions?

Ok so in turn 2, the Death Company with Jump Packs now have on their datasheet, a free reroll to charge! He'd still have failed the charge but wouldn't have had to spend the CP! -> Berserk Fury: You can re-roll Charge rolls made for this unit.

For the stack of cards, is there enough space on the card to punch some holes through it and bind them together? Maybe slap some tags on them to easily jump to where you need to.

You can only use one Faith Dice for a charge - no more auto successes. So you could have used the 6 and then you would have needed to roll the other die.

That was a fun game with well balanced lists. It shows that in a casual setting with a generous opponent you can have fun with Sisters. But i think i came out of that game even more pessimistic about them being playable outside of that. The following were all very favourable: terrain, base profile of BA, BA list of footsloggers without vehicles or indirect, nature of BA meaning sisters can sit back etc. And even then it was pretty close 😢

@3:02:00 I don't think the Suffering and Sacrifice strat works as strongly as they are implying. The Strat targets A UNIT, and then any enemy MODELS WITHIN ENGAGEMENT RANGE of THAT UNIT Attack, they have to attack the target unit. If you use it on a Unit with a single Battle Sister, not many enemy models will be in Engagement Range of that single model.

Novitiates indeed now have nothing going for them. SoB are better at holding objectives and Arco-flagellants much better at clearing hordes (and tougher).

I think the 'fight me!' strat isn't as strong as you think it is... Doesn't it only apply to MODELS in engagement range of the unit you're making them target?

Your channel triggered a discussion in my community... The CA booklet says you can pick the first two missions (wen tactical) and then you randomly draw the following ones... I'm assuming you interpreted "they should now reshuffle their deck" as if it also said "putting back the ones you chose" or if it said "reshuffle THE WHOLE deck".. Any insight on this? Is yours a house rule? Did you have a private faq? What's going on here? 😢 Can I or can I not, chose the first two tactical missions?

Yeah I don’t like where the army is atm. Sisters aren’t Raven Guard where you should be playing the objective and using mobility with small commando teams. This army should be an unsubtle hammer of faith and a boot to the face. Either they go towards big cheap 20 unit blocks that you can buff up or they redo the profile so they have 3 up WS, 2W and 2A as they wear power armour. Not my words, the rulebook literally says they’re a durable faction with best gear in the Imperium. 🙄 Right now they’re too weak, too expensive and don’t reflect what they are in the lore.
