Fun game coming down to the end ... very cool that it came down to T5 and the fact that the "tertiary" scoring is different than paint points.

i' a big fan of the skitarii stuff in admech. The breachers/destroyers are interesting and seem to still be really good in this book.

For 10e I do believe doctrina imperatives only affect units with the doctrina imperatives keyword on their data sheet 11:02

Admech detachment rule. Skitarii Hunter Cohort Its only the sicarian units (rust stalkers , infiltrators) that gain cover when shot at outside 12” not the whole army. 12:42 1:23:20 also the arc rifles in the vanguard and rangers squads are strength 8 not 6

i probably would use the annihilation legion if i had flayed ones. the $ cost kept me from buying any. plus i don't have any normal destroyers as i was hoping they would get a new kit.

So , instead of just giving each player 10 points for “battle ready” we did a max of 9 points for : Killing an enemy unit in the first battle round 2 pts Enemy warlord killed 4pts At end of game have a unit wholly within the enemy deployment zone 3 pts . This is basically an homage to the old “first blood, slay the warlord and linebreaker” that were ways to score points in most missions in editions past,

I think this is a great idea when you are running games where the painting aspect of the hobby is either a given or where the organisers want to put some emphasis on other aspects. 😁

AdMech plays its best possible detachment and acrobats around the table, pulling all the tricks. Necrons play the worst possible detachment and goof off by just sending stuff forward. Very close game. What does that tell us? MiniWarGaming is good at soft-balancing games to make even the lamest matchup interesting and fun till the end :) Ohh and GW should fire the admech rules writer.

Would it help to better the admech shooting? It seemed they were always rolling for 4´s or 5´s while the Necrons were 2´s and 3´s. Close match but it did seem admech threw everything to remove a view models while Necrons deleted so many. Except that walker, MVP for sure.

Yeah warhammer is table top tactics game not an art show, short of not having your models painted the tertiary should be something related to what happens on the table. Overall a good match. I just still find it stupid how many armies get multiple things they can do and Tau didn't even get Montka to go with their other.

Nah he is legit. Now does he make mistakes, we are all human. He is a dork elder main. An wow is he evil in the best way. But always fun and respectful. These two are buds so the trash talk off cam is what I want to hear.
