I like how different this is to the freak because it gives people 2 different options based on preference, foot size and feel. People often forget that you don’t need to wear the newest product all the time.

I like that it focuses on one aspect rather than trying to be too many things. If you don't like the feel as roomier toe box then adidas has other options. More defined styles for each adidas model is a good thing

This boot definitely doesn’t have that aggressive look like the Freak and Mutator but it’s a start of something that could work without the rubber elements falling out

Jay Mike : wide footed players will feel at home with this. Me(an adidas predator fanboy) : I m in boiii.. I m enjoying the freak.1 but that narrow pinchy mid foot region is giving my left foot a bit of trouble.. I dunno why it's just the left foot cuz my right foot is perfectly okay in the freaks after the first few wears... Hopefully the edge.1 once it comes out won't have that problem.

Great video and great cleat after a few uses but they are not durable. I purchased three and all split at the seam on the outer sole from the base plate. No more than 1mo of use. Have you considered showing how these cleats hold up after a few weeks? Your videos are informative and convince many people to purchase but if you could report on how they hold up even over a short period of time it would be way more valuable to everyone who watches. Safe to assume you get the cleats you review for free? Your viewers pay for them and would appreciate if you could speak to durability in the future.

I’m curious to know if the laceless version is viable, never been a fan of laceless boots but I know they came a long way from the first models and this ones makes me wonder if it’s worth to try. Still don’t get why they market it in a way that the laceless cost more than the one with the laces. Technically you’re getting more materials with the laces…

I like the shoe overall. They do require break in during practice in order to mold them to your foot. I used them for 15 to 20 minutes in 4-5 practices and after the boots became very comfortable and good fit overall. I don't like football reviews on new out the box fit as the majority of new premium boot do mold and soften up with use. My personal experience may difer from others, but with slightly wider feet this boot hugs my feet perfectly and feels comfortable.

I bought these yesterday, I'm wearing them around the house and yeah they do feel tight hopefully will stretch out and mould on my feet soon - any specific areas you think were the worst so I can use vaseline on them? E.g. ankle, toe, ball

@@josephjoestar995 for me it was in the toe area. Every time I would put them on they would feel a lot better than the last. After the 5th time wearing them for practice they truly felt like a glove on my feet. For me Vaseline would not have helped because it was not rubbing and honestly just breaking them in little by little did the trick.

Mutator and Freak were better, sharp with the predator DNA.🐍🦎 "Edge" has the worst design ever, every part and detail of the shoes is too bad, no harmony no message, just nothing 😠😠

so i coincidentally was looking for cleats the day the pred edge came out. i wore the edge + ag for the first time today and after practicing and taking them off i noticed the sole plate looked as if it was cracking. the chrome layer was peeling off from the cracks a bit too. wondering if i should keep an eye on this bc it's a problem or if anyone else has similar issues. thanks!

I am a rugby player but play football rarely, I have Mizuno Morellia 2 and Predator Egde .1 both size 44. The Mizuno are fine their comfy but the thing is why when I use the Preds it hurts the palm of my foot like it’s really painful does anyone know why this happen? Just got the Edge .1... My right foot hurts from one pressure point from the laces. Just like in this video. I tried different lace configurations but to no avail. What's the most effective way to deal with this?
