Follow along on this 8-day canoe camping trip to the Adirondack mountains in upstate New York. We went for the last 8 days of trout fishing season to a remote wilderness area, hoping to catch some native Adirondack brook trout. We were not disappointed, as we released some and enjoyed a few over the campfire. I hope you enjoy the video, and thanks for stopping by! Please like, comment, and subscribe to follow along on more of our adventures.

I need more channels with chill nature loving and respecting people like yours Zander’s and johns, I started with lost lakes and John is amazing then I saw Zander s channel and your channel because of johns, I need like five more good chill channels like this, I work 70hrs a week and don’t have time to run off to the water like I want so basically I’m just using KZfaq hiking camping and kayak/canoeing videos to help me not miss it so badly

Nice trip thanks for posting. Good size bullhead. My brother and I would catch them all of the time in the Adirondaks, mostly along the shore.

What an excellent video. You ate like royalty out there. That 4th day morning was beautiful. I plan on heading to that same area this spring to try my hand at trout fishing. Hoping to find some success. Probably won't be as easy as bass fishing but it would be nice to catch a few.

Thanks for watching and stopping by to comment, very much appreciated! We definitely eat good while we're out there. Its a lot more weight to carry, but its worth it when we're enjoying a nice meal at camp. Good luck with your spring trip, hope you have a great time and catch a bunch of trout!

What a nice, beautifully made video for me to watch on a snowy Sunday in southern New England! Thank you so much for sharing , your photography and content is the best! That rainbow was so perfect it's unbelievable , and then that 'lite-show ' off the water was equally amazing . thx again and Happy New Year to Alan, Tracy and Sammy!!!

Very nice Alan. Loved the intro and music. From that double rainbow to the light show on the tree trunks you had some magical moments out there. Every clip of Sammy makes me smile. What a good pup. I wonder what stirred Sammy up that one night. Every time I'm out paddling I keep an eye out for the big yellow Nova Craft. One of these days we'll bump into each other. Happy New Year to you and Tracey.

He's so happy out there exploring with us on these trips. I think he got startled by some deer that were bedding down near the lean-to. Happy new year to you and your family! Can you please provide details on how you kept the meat for 7 days? I assume you froze and had a hard cooker or did you just use the cooler in the barrel. Love the video!
@AlansOutdoorAdventures
@AlansOutdoorAdventures 6 күн бұрын
I freeze all of the meat we bring and pack frozen water bottles with it. We use the cooler in the food barrel. It works pretty well. We also do the majority of our camping trips during the spring and fall, so the temps are considerably lower, which helps us keep meat longer. Thanks for watching and stopping by to comment, very much appreciated!

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. The adks really are a great place to camp, so beautiful and peaceful. The rod holders I got are made by Ram mounts and they are the ram rod 2007. Here's a link to them: rammount.com/collections/ram-rod-holders/products/rap-340nb You'll also have to get the base for it as well, I got the clamp- on base. Here's the link to the base I got : rammount.com/products/rap-400u?variant=41937240424598 They're really good mounts, plenty of adjustment, very sturdy and well built. @@AlansOutdoorAdventuresThanks Alan. I just spent 30 minutes trying to figure out what you had on your canoe. The clamp will work perfect on my two canoes. My son and I just started trolling last summer for Bass and Pike. This will make it a lot easier. We stay in Fish Creek for 2 weeks out of the summer. i wish I could spend more time up there. I always wanted to try canoe camping like you do. Maybe one day in the future.
