Sometimes it may appear that your range or oven has a manufacturing defect when often it comes down to proper installation. One such situation is oven door alignment. The ranges are heavy and are leveled at either 4 or 6 points depending on the size of the oven. The frame of the range can flex during leveling however the door remains square. Thus if the unit is not level or one leg is not making solid contact with the floor or one or more legs is adjusted too high it can affect how the door aligns to the console / body of the appliance. In the case of a 48" range, if the middle leg is too high or too low you will see an inconsistent space between the two oven doors. Hope this helps.
