Another great job. Hope you don't get tired of me saying that. What I like about your work is your voice, how slow and soft it is, and the cadence and speed, you speak in a steady rhythm which makes it hypnotic. I assume that's done on purpose, if not, I guess you're just a natural then...at being creepy :P

I never get tired of it! Thank you for always being so encouraging! I do try to be conscious of the way I speak in my videos, but the way I naturally speak definitely helps, so it's a mix of the two :)

You are a pretty awesome voice actress and script writer. You have such a beautifully hypnotic voice with a core of steel. I wouldn't wanna mess with your characters that's for sure. Especially SCP Director Aurora. She's one scary lady! I love this sort of creepy asmr. I wonder if there will be a part 2?

... why the hell did the listener sign the page. You just relinquished all your human rights. They still will do whatever they want, but if you dont sign you have a better legal case to be rescued or for the facility to be shut down/ face charges. That contract is some scary stuff and I'm crying

Irl it's pretty much what you just said except in New York, where I live, it's quite the opposite and they have a whole bill of rights made to protect the patients civil liberties, though I'm not sure that all states are that fortunate. Massachusetts, for example still has asylums like this and worse.

Technically patients still have rights when hospitalized. That doesn’t always mean they’ll like the consequences. You can technically deny medications, although you may stay longer if that’s the case. Source: I have been put in a psych hospital multiple times.

I mean if there is anything in that contract that is illegal it makes the whole thing null and void, is actually a tactic used by some criminal elements to make you less likely to go to the law enforcement about whatever is happening. Plus as the listener signed the contract in an altered mental state it should be easy enough for any good lawyer to decredit that signature.

I agree about the audio part, when I first started listening to ASMR type videos several years ago, a lot of them were just audio. I think sometimes having a pure audio is better because it allows the creator to use their voice more deliberately and be more effective. Lots of those older ASMRtist, even though retired now, still make my regular listening rotation as they are that good.

Some people still don't know how easy it is to end up in places like this, a friend of mine who tried to commit suicide was diagnosed with schizophrenia after he was taken from the hospital , for 6 months the only contact we had with him was a phone call he made in the hospital begging us to get him a lawyer and he hung up .. After that when we tried to call the hospital all they would tell us is that "there was no one by that name here" and gave no information because we were not blood relatives and he is from Mexico so no family . anyways 6 months later we finally hear from him and he was in Cali at a mental hospital , he was fine and everything was kosher but that 6 months I was convinced he was just gone from the face of the earth .

That has happened for the 5 times I have been hospitalized so far. They tend to be very strict with communication. I was in a similar boat as your friend except I had no friends who noticed I was gone, Im from the US, and I was diagnosed with schizophrenia before admission.

If you are experiencing mental illness, I encourage you to reach out and seek professional help. As well as reaching out to a trusted individual you feel safe to confide in. If you are unable (or uncomfortable) doing so, there are multiple resources online that may be helpful for you- such as online counselors or support groups or hotlines.

I kind of made myself sound like i had difficulty differentiating what was real and what wasnt but thats not the case haha just some super duper mild paranoid thoughts and stuff so all is well rn thanks. I love your channel! Actually i fell asleep listening to it last night and butt dialed my music app so i woke up to we will rock you blasting through my ears at 2 am

So, here’s a question. What happens if I don’t sign it? Not to mention the fact that it would be extremely hard for me to sign the paper since I’m blind. I’m going to add that to my already long list of reasons why I would never sign that paper.

It’s possible to be admitted involuntarily. I was admitted involuntarily about a month or two ago and the only paper work I needed to look at was some insurance information and the bills.

A lot of psych wards have guards/security though. They are usually armed with tazors. And most doors require an ID badge to unlock rather than a physical key.
