Adobe Illustrator Tutorial: Create a Vector Hamburger from Sketch (HD)

Күн бұрынHow to turn a thumbnail pencil sketch into a clean flat design vector logo graphic in Adobe Illustrator CC. You will learn how to create a beautiful simple flat design hamburger / burger.
This video is easy and quick to learn for beginners and intermediate graphic designers looking to improve their skills in Adobe Illustrator CC using some of my tips and tricks.
You will learn step by step how to import a sketch into Illustrator. Then set it as a template. We will then create the main outlines using the pen tool, shape builder tool, curvature tool, pathfinder when merging as well as how I choose my colours and gradients with my custom colour palette.

Wow this is amazing i am sooo happy to see the final result it's perfect and the video is very helpful I learn new tactics, that width tool is amazing and in order to make shadows...idea of copying and then lowering the opacity is so amazing 👍 well done😊👍

@@DomDesigns really quick, I'm trying to follow one of these and I've finished my outline, I made a color layer, and I'm trying to turn a specific part into a shape with the shape builder. But whenever I hover over the region, clicking doesn't do anything. It's not pulling up the indicator over the region or anything. I'm suspecting it's because I didn't use closed shapes very much, but it could be something else entirely. 🤔

@@CaptainStereo Yes thats exactly the problem. You gotta make sure all of your lines are touching or overlapping in order for the program to recognize the shape :)

Hi Fabian, Welcome to my channel. Thank you for viewing my content, it means the world to me. I will try to answer your question to the best of my abilities. 1. I created a oval which I duplicated below. 2. I then deleted the top anchor point of the oval at the bottom 3. I connected the 1/2 oval to the top oval by drawing straight lines with the pen tool 4. I then selected my whole tomato shape and divided the shapes with the "shape builder" 5. I then selected and "grouped" the two tomato pieces. I hope this helps. Cheers! :) Dom
