The 3 members are siblings - last name, Perry. They hit the scene hard with this track, I believe was their first release. YOU LIE and ALL YOUR LIFE are a couple other really popular songs from them. She has the voice of an angel, for sure - and a face to match!!!

Ppl talk all kinds of shit about country music but its deeper than any other genre Im telling ya man. The storytelling and emotion put into country is like oldschool R&B. Ppl hate on it so hard when its such an important genre.

The book resting on her chest in the boat is by Tennyson, who wrote the poem, "The Lady of Shalott" about a maiden cursed to live in a tower on an island and weave, and if she dares look out the window of her tower to the world below, her curse will kill her. So, of course, she hears the parade of returning knights to Camelot, and curiosity gets the best of her. She looks out the window and instantly falls in love with Lancelot. Knowing that she is going to die anyway, she decides to leave her tower, get in a small boat, and drift away to die, though the boat drifts to the knights, and Lancelot gazes on her dead body and prays for her, saying she had a lovely face. Like most of Tennyson, it is Gothic and beautiful and tragic. In fact, Loreena McKennitt sings a version of the poem set to music that you should REALLY listen to. Loreena McKennitt has such a haunting voice, and she produces and sells all of her own music out of her home instead of using a label company. The song is nearly the full poem, so it is long at over 11 minutes, but you'd definitely not regret it!

My first time hearing this!!!!

My little sister passed in a car accident at 22. We still dont know what happened. She was driving to school, just shy of getting her bachelor's in special education. She went off the road and hit a tree. She was completely sober, not on her phone, etc. Knowing my baby sister, she would have run herself off the road at 50mph to avoid hitting a butterfly. We played this at her funeral. It still kills me.
