Itz Tala but it’s cruel to keep a hamster in a cage what is under 450 square inches and if you can’t afford to have a animal don’t have one because hamsters are animals what need lots of money spent on them they can’t have a pet shop cage !!!!!

They are babies so they can be housed together. When you purchase one you can only get one because they are solitary

really shouldnt buy from pets at home they need to be banned from selling animals. they need to be held to a higher standard. they buy their animals from mass breeders and have little regard to where the animals end up. this syrian is lucky but many others arent :(

Chloe Skeggs the franchise where i got my gerbils sounds a lot better in my opinion! the cages in the store are small but have a lot of things to keep them stimulated until adopted, and the employee asked me and my younger sister a lot of questions about gerbils before we could buy them. they also don’t sell most harmful beddings and the food they sell has variety. i have a lot of praise for the company, at least the franchise near me. i can’t say anything for where they get the small animals though, all i know is that they are housed well in-store.

jon burger unfortunately pets at home isn’t a franchise and they are all run the same. They will happily sell you a rabbit hutch and tell you they live in cages but need a two hop rule. Which is wildly wrong and rabbits thrive in indoor spaces. They’ll also sell you two of the same sex and refuse to sell you mixed gender when rabbits get along best as a NEUTERED bun husband and bun wife. They are for profit and not for animals. I have nothing against them as a company as a whole. But in the uk we should not be allowed to sell animals in such a way and there animal sales and care should be of a higher standard. However saying all this. I really appreciate that pets at home are refusing to sell animals during the COVID-19 crisis to stop animals being abandoned once we go back to normal lives and people get rid of the animals they brought because they were bored.

He was very comfortable! After running around he just slept out in the open. He always did until I gave him a multi chamber hide and he loved that ! X

I know this was 4 years ago so you probably won’t see this, but your cage looks amazing!! Usually when i see videos like this they are ppl just buying a hamster with no research whatsoever, a tiny cage and no enrichment - so when i saw your cage i was so happy! one little thing i would add a bit more bedding when you can because hamsters are natural burrowers, but that’s the only thing!! great cage :)

Thank you! Unfortunately he passed away almost a year ago so I only had him for 6 months. Because I adopted him I’m not sure exactly how old he was but he enjoyed the last 6 months ❤️

Thank you for watching! 🌿 For everyone saying that the cage needs more substrate it doesn’t. On the right section of the cage he had a digging area with a few inches of substrate. Oh really 😮 sadly I don’t have the range near me and I dislike ordering drift wood online because sometimes they don’t send you nice pieces. I ordered one from pets at home one and it was the size of my hand 🙄 💕
