@@filethunter3869 Hi.. actually she didn't leave the baby these little Babies fall out of the trees a lot and it's a serious problem because the sloth moves so slowly that the mother can't quickly retrieve and save her Baby...it's critical to have a human put the baby back into the tree .😁

@@filethunter3869 Also for sloths and Turtles when they try and cross the roads is when they get hit...and sometimes the people put them back on the wrong side of the road, 😔 after it took them 1)2 day to make any headway..So folks have to look both ways to see what direction the animal is heading towards..I love 😘 animals so much.

Mom was taking her sweet time to come and get her baby. Probably taking a well-deserved mommy break. She knew he wouldn't be running off anywhere. Loved seeing this little guy being helped back home.❤

I've never seen a real sloth until I started watching them on here. You all do an amazing job of helping them. He is just so absolutely cute and beautiful. Did you film his mum coming down to get him. Oh, how precious. Delightful gentle little squeals. Just gorgeous. ❤❤❤

How do you know which tree the mother is in? Also the zoologist is so pretty.. and everytime I see a sloth the artist in me wants to paint their nails a Kool color 😂

As a volunteer docent at the zoo, I would bring animals out of their enclosure and take them up close and personal with the zoo guests. One day I was able to really know a sloth while carrying it around. She was so sweet and gentle and every once in awhile would tap me on the nose. I felt that tap was a gesture of acceptance and even saying now we're friends.
