She's cute, but tbh i can't look at cats like her without feeling sad. That smooshed facial structure is terrible from a health standpoint and they're so much more likely to get infections in the skin folds on their faces. Something like 80% of solid white cats with blue eyes are hearing-impaired or outright deaf. The lack of pigment in their coats increases the risk of skin cancer from sun exposure too, but some breeders don't care and I'm sure some don't disclose that to their clients because cancer sucks and it's expensive to treat. And we did that to them with strategic inbreeding. The idea that we are likely messing up the cat gene pool the same way we've messed up the dog gene pool is... distressing.
