Thank you for sharing! Question please 🙋🏾‍♀️ If the patient has cortisol imbalances does this affect mood? As I remember cortisol being one of the stress hormones.

High levels of cortisol can lead to an altered mood and emotions such as anxiety, irritability, and depression. For example, people with chronic stress or anxiety disorders tend to have elevated cortisol levels, leading to a range of mood-related problems. Additionally, cortisol imbalances have been linked to Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), a form of depression that occurs during the winter months due to reduced exposure to sunlight.
