Feathers and Roses free hand quilting. On my facebook page I do have more pictures of a large quilt that I quilted with this design. This video shows this design on a pillow sham that I am working on. I start with the feather spine and spaced out echoed roses. Then I go back and feather fill and echo the feathers. I show at the end of the video the settings that I am using. Non- regulated, non-computerized. I'm using Omni Thread, and Warm and White Batting. Thanks for watching!!! Plz Like and share! I’ve been waiting for a new video, and you did not disappoint! Roses and feathers are my favorite designs, and I could watch you quilt them all day (and night!). I don’t know how you can get in so tight. You make it look easy when I know it’s not. Your backtracking is enviable; you are a true thread artist! I hope one day I’m even half as good. Watching your videos is like meditation, relaxing and encouraging mindfulness. Your style has a freedom to it that makes me (a long time handquilter) think I could try it. I’ve done straight line quilting on a few with my walking foot. The music is so relaxing.

Your flowers are stunning. I can see myself being able to try those. Your feathers leave me breathless! They are incredible. I was shocked when you started traveling around them. That is stacks more work. I noticed it was then turned into dense quilting. The way you flow from one side of the feathers to the other makes sense as the stem was very long. I love that idea 💡. Thank you for sharing with us all again

This is so gorgeous. What a lovely combination of roses and feathers. I would not have thought of that. Being able to see how you completed this is so very helpful and I truly appreciate that you share your accomplished expertise to help others. I will try it in my sit down Tiara II. I’ve been able to do that with some of your other designs, so thank you again. And your relaxing music is heavenly. I do my feathers now after watching your video from early in the year . How you lay the spine down across the whole quilt then go back and fill in. I can’t wait for your online class next year.

The batting and extra backing gets trimmed off and binding will finish the quilt
