Another song Randy Rhoads did with Ozzy that will put a knot in your throat & make the hair on the back of your neck stand up is called Diary of a madman.

I am a rocker from the 80's and I grew up in burbank, California, I lived not to far from Randy Rhoads and him and his mom had a music studio. RIP Randy, one fo the great guitar players of the last century! Ozzy was excited when he found Randy!

This phenomenal guitarist, Randy Rhodes, died way too young in plane crash, and will be greatly missed by many. Glad you enjoyed this!
@DRAONWEED
@DRAONWEED 9 ай бұрын
Not gonna bash on you, but your details on the plane crash that killed Randy Rhoads are flawed, The crash took place on 3-19-82 in Leesburg, Fla. The band's bus driver Andrew Acock had an expired pilot's license and offered to take members of the band up for a view of the property. Randy Rhoads & Rachel Youngblood the personal assistant to Sharon were the last to go up with him. The plane clipped the side of the tour bus, pinwheeled into the garage of the Calhoun mansion nearby and exploded, killing all on board instantly.

@@DRAONWEED Lotsa deets! I like that. Makes your version more credible. Not as dramatic and exciting, and yet that makes it all even more realistic, therefore even more credible. But bit boring, comparatively. So smart people will probably go with your's. But most people aren't smart, so I'm gonna stick with what I heard Ozzie tell veejay Kurt Loder in Mtv interview in 1986. Ozzie's one of dumbest people, but he's our guy! So even if his version of reality and history are diluted with alcohol and drugs, still, Sharon's smart, but boring.🤓

@@Billy-zv6gv 2 of the worst parts of what happened that day were how fragile life is & that an amazing up-and-coming musician with so much potential & his whole life ahead of him had every tomorrow he was ever going to have ripped away in an instant by an accident.
@Billy-zv6gv
@Billy-zv6gv 9 ай бұрын
@@DRAONWEED Absolutely! I also heard Sharon say line of guitarists for lead guitarist was three blocks long, and when they finally heard Randy, they immediately told all of the rest in line to go home 'cause they knew they just got the very best guitarist, even better than they had ever hoped for! I worship the cover of Randy Rhodes tribute album with Ozzie holding Randy up in the air, playing his classic polka dot guitar! Ozzie's expression is priceless! I'm sooo glad at 84, he's still the godfather! You're more than alright, dude!😎
@DRAONWEED
@DRAONWEED 9 ай бұрын
@@Billy-zv6gv 1, I think Ozzy's 75 not 84. 2 A man named Dana Strum of a band named Slaughter verbally twisted Randy's arm to audition for Ozzy, so at an oddball hour in the morning Randy showed up to Ozzy's hotel room to audition and was just warming up, { that warm up riff would become Suicide Solution.] & Ozzy being Ozzy was at the time blasted out of his own head, was shocked out of his alcohol induced coma by Randy's warming up, he hadn't even started to show what he could do yet. As for Sharon's recount of long lines was probably during normal hours of the day And Ozzy said most of those guys were mimicking Tony Iommy's playing & Ozzy didn't want to recreate Black Sabbath.

Listened to Ozzy in my younger days and enjoyed his concert. Have you ever listened to any country music? For those of us who's had a wife and kids Allen Jacksons song (remember when), will pull at your heart strings, and I'm a classic rocker to the core. You showed me you have a beautiful soul when you watched and listened to Scorpions (Winds of change) Great band Great concert.

I enjoyed Poland very much. I left Kyiv by train 18 months ago. After me and my 2 cats riding the train in the area between the wagons we were able to get to Jaroslaw, then Krakow, finally Warsaw. I flew from Frédéric Chopin Airport to Chicago. Funny, I still have Zloti. My friends are still in Krakow and Warsaw.

Sadly there isn't much footage of Randy playing live, but there is a video of them playing this song, I recommend checking that out, and seeing him in action, he was an awesome guitarist.., one of the best. Also I saw someone has already suggested the song Diary of a Madman, I also highly recommend that, and the song Tonight from the same album. The exit solo on Tonight is Randy playing from his heart, and you can feel the emotion he's putting into it. RIP Randy 🙏
