Rees was a tough little bastard. But the size difference here was alarming. Broner had talent but was never half as good as he thought he was in his own head.

What? You can never question Broner skill and god given talent. It’s just the big headedness, fame and stuff going on outside the ring that got in the way. His natural weight is 135 - 140 he couldn’t be stopped at that weight at that time. It wasn’t until he moved up after the close Paulie fight that he realized 147 was a different beast and those guys hit way harder at that weight so he couldn’t walk through those guys like he was use to doing. Picking certain opponents could have got him a few more wins at that weight but eventually he was going to have to fight a true talented welterweight and it would show.

A.B was a BEAST at 135 and 130 he had insane KO power at those weights and actually walked you down and broke you down he was true to his name the problem coz he was a problem for whoever he fought 140 and over he don't really possess the power just dosent hit hard enough especially at 147 he says he wanna come down to 135 to fight devin haney idk man he hasn't been at that weight for a while idk if he would still be strong at that weight but hoping he is when he actually let's his hands go and throws combinations he's exciting to watch but if he averages 8 punches a round like the manny fight this man's career is all over
