How to Thread the MT 1501 Part 1 of 3

In this 3 part video I show you how to thread the Ricoma Mt-1501 two different ways, how to insert a new bobbin, how to clean the bobbin case as well as how to change the color on the screen to match the color threads in your machine. I thought this would be helpful because these are all things that would have made my transition into the commercial embroidery machine world a-lot easier. I hope it helps someone. BRO Your tutorial was better than the RICOMAS. I just bought a used one and it wasn't threaded, i watch theres and it was not as detailed with the camera angels needed to feel confident but this was beautiful THNX

Thank you for another informative video. I had a needle brake yesterday and the funny part was I wasn’t paying attention that I unscrewed the screw all the way off lol 😂 and lost the screw

You are welcome. Thanks for watching. Oh no. That sounds like a headache. Did you get another screw? Where did you get it from? Would you have to contact Ricoma for it? I would use a screw from one of the other needles in the meantime till I found it or got a new one. I know you won’t make that mistake again.

@@adubbproductions The tool box had extra screws. The presser foot came down Lol 😂 I had parts laying on my design. I didn’t panic I just looked at it as a learning curve. I was able to fix my MT1501 without calling Ricoma it was actually fun. Your right I will not do that again. Found the missing screw by my chair.

Thank you so much! You helped me get through the intimidation.... What is the most economical software program? Is the Chroma2 the best or can I use another software program? Would you recommend getting a free trail of the Chroma 2 software? I bought the machine from a 3rd party. Ricoma does not honor 3rd party purchases. Also, what type of computer is best? And can I use the machine without software to test functionality. Please help...

I have a question, when I try to upload a dst file a folder appears under stitch, I touch it and it disappears, I really hope u can let me know how to open a folder so I can start embroidering… thanks

Normally when you select a folder if no .dst file is in it nothing appears. Did you purchase the .dst file or did you export it from your digitizing software?

Hey bro. I just purchased the 1501 machime for my wife. She's a newbie. Did you have to purchase all the Ricoma upgrade softwares? Like the digital digitizing software etc.?

You MT-1501 comes with digitizing software. Chroma inspire is the base version that comes with the machine. You can upgrade to chroma plus or chroma luxe for more money.
