Poland used to have a similar thing called Klasyki Cartoon Network (translation: Cartoon Network Classics), but it was on Cartoon Network since Poland doesn't have Adult Swim (but Cartoon Network had TCM at night in the past). It had Dexter's Laboratory, Cow and Chicken, I Am Weasel and Courage the Cowardly Dog. It didn't have bumpers like that, just a random clip from a cartoon coming up next, with a transition to the Cartoon Network Classics logo on the background with old CN characters.

also, it didn't stretch 4:3 to 16:9, it had a pillarbox that was coloured as the main character from the cartoon that was on (however, 4:3 was cropped to 5:4).

I'm happy this is here and I'll probably watch it any chance I possibly can. But I can't help but feel teased. I'm selfish, I want a whole boomerang channel for stuff from my era. When I was a kid everything on boomerang was way before my time but now I'm at an age where my stuff should be what boomerang is about. In a perfect world I would just want an entire channel dedicated to being classic cartoon network complete with classic adult swim at the end of it. Let me numb myself with 24/7 nostalgic escapism. I wish it was the same to just watch them with the convenience modern TV consumption gives you but that level of convenience lessens the experience. I can watch any episode of any show I want whenever I want wether entirely legally or not, regardless I have access to it. And yeah it can be great sometimes, but nothing beats the authentic experience. Checkered past isn't just the shows, it's an event you have to be there for and are able to miss. It even has new bumps. It's just an entirely different experience compared to going on the internet and watching this stuff whenever you feel like it.

I don't know why but I am kind of emotional watching this. It just reminds me when I was younger and when I got older for years I wanted them to do something like this. Have a block of like the old shows but make it similar to what it used to be like. And it's pretty close to what I've always dreamed. I mean I love the boomerang back of the day and I thought it was good but I'm glad that they're updating more to what I remember lol

Adult Swim is becoming much more child friendly since they are holding everything on its back, Cartoon Network has already become a failure channel, I mean look at their schedules, they have like less hour than adult swim, and also they have a baby/very young child block in 6am through maybe 8/9am.
