The lord is concerned about every part of our journey, hence praying for friends in adulthood is of paramount importance. Also, depending on the holy spirit for discernment. The devil can send counterfeits our way. Ya'll are really awesome, I love this platform. ❤️❤️❤️

Currently I'm in the season where God is isolating me from friendships and it's very scary and sad sometimes I am doubting if this is me or God because I miss them so much but I definitely appreciate this episode of the podcast.

I feel you. I have 4 friends I can call anytime to talk to. It was 5 and it's 4 now and I feel it's going to be going down because of the season I'm in. There are a lot of self-growth and new undertakings that I don't even have time to invest in building a solid friendship which is scary because I sometimes feel lonely. Got to trust God through 😩

I was feeling some of the same, but feeling better about it now because of the things Jesus has shown me during the time of separation and pruning. It was/is necessary. Be encouraged and keep seeking Him while remaining focused on Him and what He does in you during this time.🙏🏽

the louis vuitton part was too funny 😂😂😂😂 but this was absolutely true, especially the needy friends part & the judgment “friends.” authenticity is key! also I was definitely the cut off friend that would cut somebody off at the drop of the dime but as I grow in my walk with God, im more honest, more big on setting boundaries & also recognizing my faults that I contribute.

This is so good. Thank you ladies. It’s amazing to watch God redeem relationships in full time as you partner with Him in obedience to just allow folks in, even the same ones that you’ve hurt or have hurt you and to watch hearts soften right there. It’s weird when you’re witnessing it, but it’s nothing but His grace and a solid yes.

This was such a refreshing conversation! I totally relate with a lot of the points that were made especially about staying to myself because I’m not trying to be out here being thirsty lol. I too, was apprehensive about letting people in too quickly. I even questioned why I have this such strong desire for friendship but God had to remind me that He put this innate desire in all of use - we need each other. He had to get me together & remind me that He’s given me discernment in this season and that it’s not enough for me to desire friendship but that I have to be willing to move with faith & put myself out there & move with that discernment. I know God is about to bring the right people into my life and I pray that He does the same for everyone else reading this. I’m praying that we all find those people we can be our genuine self around and move in purpose with 🤎

I can't stress how yall spoke a mouthful. I will add and take nothing from all that's being said. I also love how you put a strong emphasis on genuine authenticity, that's one value I live by in friendships. and also the need to take inventory around the people the people God puts around me and why I'm not letting them in. I know I'm guilty there. I had someone relentlessly pursue friendship with me in this season and I told her I wasn't ready to be friends. She's quite patient with me but I'm realising the fear may never allow for the friendship to happen. So thanks for this again Guys.

Being a single WOG and serving its hard for me to make friends with the ladies in the church because they don’t want to associate with a single women and of course their all married, so I serve and stay to myself, I don’t want it to be that way, because I want that Christian sisterhood. This was such a refreshing perspective on adulting and friendship. I am that awkward person in starting new friendships and I have been praying that God sends my way lile minded people who will be my destiny partners. I think also not pre-empting according to our own liking like selecting people according to status what they have but really opening up ourselves for what the Lord has, He might just do exceedingly, abundantly, above what we can ask, think or imagine. I would love to be blessed with a friendship like you ladies have.

Wow, this is really insightful that as Christians we don't have to play the police of who should come into our lives for the fear of someone hurting us. Come on girl, the Lord is our Shepard and as a Shepard he knows exactly where greener pastures are. We should let him lead us trusting that he knows exactly who should be in our lives for forever, for a season or just to show them direction and that's it. We are safe where we are 💕#enjoy For a start you are my friends, I found pastor Stephanie here on KZfaq just last month,I have watched almost all her teachings, all your talk shows,I mean intentionally watching that I was with her in my dream . I believe in predestination. YOU ALL ARE MIRRORS 💕🤍🥰 THANK YOU.

The special part for me was mentioning that because God is continuously working he decides which doors to remain open, closed or swinging. It’s so easy to determine the status of a relationship when it’s ended badly “I’m done with this person”. But God may not be. So I’m getting that if we allow God to decide the people in our lives, we will allow ourselves to experience what comes with it

The Redemptive part is big!!! I know someone with who I wanted to be a friend but I messed up the relationship before it even got anywhere. The funny thing is after God dealt with me on the issue which included an action towards the person's business, I had a dream that we were talking and laughing and everything was okay. When I woke up I laughed 😂 at the idea because of I was her, I wouldn’t want that old me close. But I’m beginning to believe in redemption not just in my spiritual walk but in all areas.
