I have to disagree with the "condensation" thing. I've been playing clarinet for decades. It's slobber. Seriously. The moisture that condenses in there is from your mouth and lungs, which is exactly where spit comes from. All I can say is if you're a wind player, you get used to it.

Me, a percussionist, looking at Jasmine when she’s playing sitting down: NOOOOOO Me, a percussionist watching her grip the sticks right: YESSSSSSSSSS They did well? But their tempo was always a little weird, and the drum was WAYYYYYYY too low for her, the drum should make your arms just over 90 degrees, not 180. Also clarinetist should most likely play with a metronome or a backing track of what Jasmine is playing. I love that this video gave band kids recognition, and the fact that they said that band was hard was RELEAVING to show to a large audience. I’m still a sophomore, I’ve been playing percussion for just about 5 years, I have spent song after song being Tracey or having 300 parts I need to keep track of, and I wish they had pent more time giving Jasmine not just snare but things like guiro, marimba, vibe, block, xylo, quads, marching snare (it’s always good to experience the weight of the snare of the shoulders), cowbell, triangle, etc. (watch EMC productions to see all the percussion instruments (there’s over 100)). Playing instruments are not only hard, but dedication, sporty, memorization, and just overwhelming sometimes. The fact that they helped show that to other people, especially in a widespread KZfaq channel, made me feel respected and happy, although I wish they had spent more time working on things like describing the strokes (she was downstroaking a little) showing how high the drum should be, so one so forth (the worst part about playing a mallet instrument is when you grow or another person gets your instrument and you have to adjust the height of the board which requires you to hold the board up-mind u this thing is over 100 pounds-until it’s the fight height). So thanks, you guys.

As a clarinetist, this is both painful to hear and painfully accurate. Some tips for Lindsay: -Watch the flying fingers. Keep your fingers relaxed and close to the instrument so that it doesn't take so long to get to the next note -You can practice making sound through the mouthpiece and barrel alone (top two pieces, no keys) -Don't blow down into the instrument, blow straight towards the back of the mouthpiece and it'll direct the airflow (that's what the slant is for) - Keep your chin at an almost 90° angle with your neck. If you imagine someone pushing the clarinet through your head, it should come out (bear with me here) in the center of the top but also farthest back spot of your head. Think of the only spot Phineas has hair on his head.

As someone who did orchestra from 4th grade to high-school any type of ability to understand what your suppose to play is what's important. We had an autistic girl who couldn't play so we turned her bow around and we never let her play alone . She thought she helped with the beautiful harmony and she did bc she inspired us to make her and anyone who came like her after her sound just as beautiful after 4 years of consistency from the same orchestra plus who followed and who graduated she was able to play the pink panther by they time she herself graduated
