after a 2 day flat press did my Technic get good results?
content of how to refold, be patient and be careful when aligning your board with the staples, make sure everything is straight.

Ive sent over 1000 books to cgc. Ive purposefully avoided buying spine rolls because of the added drama. I might now give it a shot after your nice detail! If I do it your way does it become my way after doing it your way? Great stuff once again. Keep it coming!

Yes every book deserves its own respect. Gold, Silver and up the line need to be adjusted. Always start all books loose then tighten.

Very helpful. What would cause the staples to pop? Pressure, humidity, backing board?

Humidity is the main culprit, wet paper is weak paper. Adding the pressure will pop or push the staples from there seated position. When I first did my trial and error 20 years or more ago I popped many a staple then a small hole from the staples tips, then I discovered adding the pressure after I lowered my press arm I was able to have total control of the weight.
