Hi I'm Kathryn!
I am a former soloist with the New York City Ballet and Miami City Ballet. When I was a young student, I was always looking for insights into the ballet world and how to improve my dancing as well as beauty and lifestyle tips. Now that I am a professional, it is my turn to share.
On my channel I make ballet, beauty, and lifestyle videos for everyone of all ages. My goal is help dancers improve and achieve their dreams as well as open up the ballet world to non dancers. That younger boy is smashing it ! He puts a narrative into everything he does - so watchable and a nice arabesque elevation for a boy his age training wise. Lovely class. Thank you both for sharing

All of these dancers have gorgeous technique and I am hypnotized by every single one of their movements. I can barely focus on myself! Especially the grand allegro combination. Beautiful lines, super high, you all look like you're flying and enjoying it. Never stop what you're doing if you love it. Chase this. you all have extraordinary talent. Please tell them this!!

Excellent class. The dancers are so impressive! Kathryn, your fiancé' is a natural comedian. He is excellent with his instructions and adding a bit of humor helps me to not be so stressed while I try to get all the steps correctly. Definitely coming back to review and practice. Thank you.

Excellent class, not sure if you are aware, but there are ads during the class. I don't remember that for your other classes. All good, if that is a new policy, just wanted to let you know if you did not know.

Love that you featured real dancers rather than pro’s. Just want to give more credit to Layla Porter (far right in the barre)-she displays the most musicality, internalisation of rhythm, and “this is easy” technique. Kudos to her: she should feature more prominently in these videos. That being said, all dancers have Chris’ “flipper” problem, i.e., the fingers clump together like a claw/dolphin flipper. Katie, you should come in to show a tutorial about arms and fingers. These dancers (and everyone watching) would REALLY benefit from the nuance you bring to the port de bras. ❤️

Although the content of this class seems to be good, the white on white is really hard to see and it would have been simpler to watch one or two dancers. Just saying. We're not all professionals.
