He's literally paved the way for wrestling industry, it just saddened me when most of people didn't said his name when they asked about "who's your Rushmore of wrestling" question

It was just a different era. You can’t compare wwf/wwe to sammartino, it’s like two different products entirely. Sammartino is obviously one of the greatest of all time if not the greatest, but you can not put it on a mount rushmore because the purpose of a mount rushmore is to explain which wrestlers had the most influence in shaping your view and interpretation of professional wrestling, which are the ones that inspired other wrestlers to create their own style. Bruno can’t be mentioned simply because it’s like a completely different thing. He doesn’t belong in the conversation because the sport itself was a different language, a different mean of communication. I’m sure everybody respects and admires his work, but probably none of them wrestlers copy anything from him outside of his passion for the craft

To me, the greatest of all time. What this man had to overcome just to get to this country as a child during the war. Fighting for everything, taking care of his siblings. Holding the title Longer than anyone. Selling out MSG a total of 181 times In a row. Coming back from a broken neck. Bruno was all man. RIP to a man who was a champion in the ring and outside it and in life. 😊😊😊
